Annie has loved music since she was very young. She remembers begging her mom to buy her the new Britney Spears album (Baby One More Time) when she was only five. She was so excited when her mom finally caved and got it for her before a road trip to New Jersey, during which she listened to it on repeat the whole. ride. there. Oh, and back. Annie was in her school choir from elementary school up until middle school, when she switched over to band to play the saxophone. She played all through middle school and was also in the high school marching band. Her involvement with music-related extracurricular activities continued to guide her journey through music performance. These experiences taught her to step out of her comfort zone and to not be afraid to be different, but most importantly, to have fun!

Annie originally started DJing as a fun hobby/activity but never knew she would become a professional DJ until she realized that it had become less of an hobby/activity and more of a passion! She started off DJing parties and events and then moved onto weddings when she became a part of the Amplify family! After her first solo wedding at Amplify, she loved DJing even more and leaned in hard. Annie puts passion, creativity, and care into everything she does, which is why she has found such a deep-rooted place with music. From her personality (including her ever-changing hair styles and colors) to her DJing, she is often described with one word: vibrant! Annie is very much a people person and will bring something different, exciting, and fun to any event.

Born in Pensacola and raised in the country 16 miles outside of Tallahassee, Chelsea grew up fishing with her grandpa, hunting with her stepdad, and four-wheeling with her brother and cousin. She played sports from basically babyhood through college, including basketball and softball. Music has always been a huge part of Chelsea’s life, whether to relax or go hard, through the good times and the bad. During the week, you’ll catch her laying tile, painting, plumbing, and any other handy stuff she can find.

When she’s not working as a DJ or on handy projects, you’ll find her relaxing at home with her fiancee, Sam, her dogs, Johnny Cash and June, her cats, Ares and Athena, or singing it out loud at a local karaoke spot. Chelsea’s fun personality draws everyone in and leads to lots of smiles and tons of dancing!

Ask Lane what his favorite type of music is and he’ll have a hard time giving you an answer. The truth is he likes music from literally every genre, except maybe polka (no offense, polka fans!). He’s been rocking everything from weddings and company parties to Quinceñeras and mitzvahs for Amplify since 2014, but weddings are his bread and butter.

When he’s announcing the wedding party and the bride and groom for their grand introduction into the reception, Lane channels his inner event rockstar and trust -- it works. When it’s time to dance, Lane brings enough energy to get the crowd going, but he’s not overbearing on the mic. If the crowd on the dance floor gets thin he switches tactics to find the right vibe and bring it back. He describes it as a game of reading the crowd and anticipating what they need to hear to keep the party jumping and he acknowledges that it’s never the same for any two groups.

When he’s not creating magic on the dance floor, you might find Lane at home with his wife and four little kids. Or at home working for a national education nonprofit trying to help kids in need get access to a high-quality education. Or at home building himself a home office in the backyard so he can hide from his four kids and get some work done.

After all these years of watching couples share their vows and say, "I do," Lane still finds each wedding touching. And every time, it makes him think of how much he loves his own wife and how she deserves the best he can give her. Ultimately, for Lane, DJing is one part love of music, and the other part... just love.

While other 13-year-olds ask for video games for their birthday, Marc asked for a DJ controller and a set of speakers. Even though he had no idea what all the buttons did on the controller, he immediately started running sound for non-profit organizations like the YMCA. This served as a foundation for Marc to build his MC skills, as he discovered that he loved being the energy of a party.

Years later when Marc arrived at college, he realized that what he really wanted to do with his life was to make a positive impact on others. Soon thereafter, he started working for Amplify and as a 911 EMT for a local EMS organization. This taught him how to interact with people of all walks of life, a skill that he utilizes every time he DJs. This love for impacting others meshed well with his passion for being a DJ/MC. Creating lifelong memories during events is one of the aspects of being a DJ that he finds so fulfilling.

Throughout Marc's eight years of experience as a DJ, he found that what he enjoys most is running the party from the dance floor, not from behind the booth. Although his dance moves are subpar, he’s never let that stop him.

Like most Amplify DJs, Erik has been involved in music since a very young age, from playing his plastic recorder in elementary school to performing saxophone concertos at Florida State University. He grew up involved in many concert bands, jazz quartets, and solo saxophone performances all throughout middle and high school. When he moved to Tallahassee to study at FSU, he instantly found his home within the College of Music and it was during his studies that he joined Amplify. He has since move to Atlanta, serving Amplify clients from Tallahassee to Atlanta to Savannah, and working at a recording studio in Atlanta as well.

Having studied Commercial Music, Erik has developed skills in music production, composing, arranging, engineering, and most importantly DJing! When gigging, he loves being a part of one of the most important and special days in the life of a couple; and more importantly, being the reason that they remember that night for years to come! The adrenaline rush that comes with getting a crowd up and moving on the dance floor can only be described as riding a roller coaster for hours on end (with yours truly in the driver’s seat 😉).

DJ, producer, promoter, sound and lighting engineer, and music enthusiast, Robert (sometimes also know as DJ Snow) has more than 35 years of experience as a DJ, as well as more than 18 years of experience in broadcasting. Robert is adept at creating both an effective and unique party experience, as well as formulating strategic formats to entertain crowds. He’s rocked stadiums and colleges across the nation from Miami to New York City, sometimes in front of thousands of people and sometimes for small parties and weddings. He started DJing as a young teenager, inspired by local DJs he watched in the parks growing up, and he first started DJing in the club at age 16. Since then, he's DJed everything from Warped Tour to Outkast's album release show for ATLiens. As a former club owner in Jacksonville, he booked consistently sold out shows and hip hop underground events, even booking both Lil Jon and Mase their first stage performances as teenagers.

To say Robert's resume is impressive would be putting it lightly. He's appeared on BET’s Rap City and Luke Campbell’s reality TV show on VH1. Robert's favorite genres include hip hop, RnB, reggae, old school, EDM, house, top 40, pop, and Latin. While he uses electronic DJ controllers, Robert still prefers the feel of turntables and feeling the records as he mixes. This is more than just an old school love of vinyl as Robert owns more than 150,000 vinyl records from practically every genre. Robert primarily serves Amplify’s Jacksonville, St. Augustine and Orlando locations, but is also available (with a travel fee) to serve Tallahassee and beyond.

Wes was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida with music being a strong motivation for anything he did. The only thing that could overpower his love for music was his love for swimming, but he moved away just before enrolling in college to live in the European Lowlands. He learned Dutch while abroad, and came to have a deep appreciation and love for the people and culture that surrounded him. Upon returning to the States, he was passionate about making music a bigger part of his life, which is what led him to becoming a DJ for Amplify in 2017.

Wes loves people dancing at his events! It doesn’t matter if it’s line dancing, booty dancing, hardcore mosh-pit-style-dancing (best to give these guys some room), or some good old bachata. If you’re dancing, Wes is dancing. And if you’re not dancing, he's probably still dancing anyway! And his dancing is contagious so you’re going to be dancing anyway!

From a young age, Dave was heavily influenced by music all around. At home he remembers the piano lessons his mom would give. Outside the home, he remembers having to jump over others’ shoulders in order to see his older brothers' rock bands perform.

He was only four years old when he went to his first rock concert. He went to so many shows and never remembers feeling embarrassed about dancing or singing along, which transitioned well into DJing.

Raised in a loud and exciting atmosphere, Dave loves being a part of events that make his adrenaline start pumping. At the age of nine years old, Dave began to play the drums and continues to play and sing with various groups. Having recently lived in Mexico, Dave has a love for Latin-American culture and is fluent in Spanish.

Michael has always been a party animal. Throughout his childhood, if he wasn’t riding around Connecticut in his dad’s truck singing along to Country 92.5, he was attending parties thrown by his parents and at church, captivating the crowd as the center of attention, stealing the mic, jumping in the spotlight, and dancing all night long.

Michael has been a DJ with Amplify since 2015, after joining the team during his studies as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Musical Theater major at Florida State University. Upon graduation, he has since been seen around the world as a professional actor and performer, most notably as an award winning singer onboard the Azamara Club cruises throughout 2019, as well as on multiple performing contracts with Busch Gardens, and regional theaters across the country. He also had his television debut on The History Channel, in Seasons 1 and 2 of The Food That Built America, as Howard Heinz, son of Henry Heinz, the inventor of Ketchup. Needless to say, he’s kept plenty busy.

Michael has been known to bring his professional singing and guitar playing background to some of his Amplify events, whose clients have requested it, crooning the night away to his favorite jazz tunes, or rocking out with the guests to their favorite classic rock, funk, and pop hits. If you’re looking for a DJ that can double as a live musician and entertainer, there’s no better match than Michael.

Dillon was born in Iowa, raised in Tallahassee, and currently lives in Nashville. He grew up with a passion for music, and a love for the stage, playing music in bands since he started playing the guitar. His other talents and hobbies include photography, backpacking, sailing, and canoeing.

As the lead guitarist for Brightside, Dillon played all over the United States and beyond, having played Vans Warped Tour and opened for some pretty big names like We the Kings.

Armed with an addictive smile and a love for performing, Dillon is a stellar DJ for any event!

A Florida native, Zac has been obsessed with music and science fiction since he was 7 years old and watched Star Wars: A New Hope for the first time; nothing made Darth Vader more terrifying (or awesome) than John Williams’ Imperial March. A decade of piano lessons, Orson Scott Card, and a guitar purchase later, Zac was telling stories of his own through songwriting, short stories, and his one man DJ service right up until he decided to put pen, mixer, and strings down for two years to serve the people of California. Not too long after he returned home, Zac got married, started a family, became a professional Shakespearean actor for a while, learned Hebrew and Greek, and dusted off the old PA system to DJ events along the far western Panhandle.

Ryan was born in Georgia, but has spent the majority of his life in Florida and has lived in downtown Salt Lake City for the last few years. He has a big family — 48 first cousins and 30 aunts and uncles — so family is extremely important to him. He grew up with friends and family who are very musically inclined, and he also shares their affinity toward music. Although he has experimented with a few different instruments in his life, he mainly enjoys just groovin’ to the beat and sharing music with others as a fun, high-energy DJ for Amplify, which he joined back in 2015.

Some fun facts about Ryan: He has never tried a type of food that he didn’t love; he learned to moonwalk in 5th grade to impress the ladies; he loves traveling and experiencing different cultures.

Nora loves surfing, singing and playing the piano. During her free time, she also likes to write, produce and record her own music as well as going to Starbucks almost every day of the week. Nora can not go on a car ride without listening to music from her various different playlists, so being a DJ for Amplify has been the perfect path to embark on for her passion in pursuing a career in commercial music and music production. Energized by celebrations, Nora loves bringing the energy and is ready to rock your wedding!

Anita was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama before moving to Tallahassee to pursue her Bachelors of Music at Florida State University. She currently studies under Gregory Sauer, and has served as Principal Cello of the University Philharmonia Orchestra.

Anita works as a freelance chamber and orchestral musician throughout the Southeastern U.S., and has performed with a number of regional orchestras such as the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra, Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, and Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra.

Prior to her studies at FSU, her work as a freelance musician has ranged from chamber music at weddings and private events, to orchestra pits for musical theater productions, to studio recording. Anita cherishes each and every performance as a freelance musician, not only for the musical aspects, but also for the connections and friendships she has made along the way.

Eliot is a saxophonist/woodwind multi-instrumentalist from Key West, Florida. He is currently pursuing dual degrees in Jazz Studies and Computer Science at Florida State University. Proficient in saxophone, flute, clarinet, and guitar, he often performs in productions at the Quincy Music Theater and the FSU School of Theater, in addition to the numerous ensembles he participates in as a student in the jazz department at FSU.

Eliot is also a volunteer at Cat Family Records, a local non-profit record company that organizes many events and fundraisers for charity around Tallahassee. His main hobbies outside of music include working out and cooking. In his free time, he enjoys making music with his friends and cycling around Tallahassee.

Singing is Françoise's absolute passion in life. Nothing makes her happier than performing so she always makes sure that the love of her craft is infectious. Her goal is to to touch every listener and give them an experience they will never forget.

Françoise is a versatile singer, having performed RnB, Jazz, Soul, Gospel, Pop, Alternative, House, Rock and Country. Music versatility is the key to her singing and performing.

Juliet is a Florida native that has been playing the violin for 16 years. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Violin Performance under the tutelage of Benjamin Sung. She has acted as Assistant Concertmaster and Assistant Second Violin if the University Philharmonic Orchestra.

She also freelances around the Florida and Georgia area, appearing with groups such as the Panama City Pops and others. Between 2011-2016, she attended All-State, performing in the Straz Center for the Performing Arts, as well as having performance opportunities in Carnegie Hall in 2012. She is a passionate chamber musician, and won the FMEA Chamber Competition in 2016.

Juliet was recently accepted to the Texas Music Festival. Juliet is also pursuing a double major in International Affairs and hopes to one day combine her two interests by bringing sustainable music programs to impoverished areas around the world.

Justin is an accomplished violist currently living in Tallahassee, Florida. He is currently a student at Florida State University perusing a master’s degree in music performance. Before coming to Tallahassee, Justin was an active performer for weddings, events, and chamber music ensembles in the Orlando area. He has also held a Co-Principal position in the Encore Cast Performing Arts Orchestra at Disney World as well as a Principal position in the Winter Park Chamber Music Academy Orchestra.

In addition, Justin has held several positions in Pit Orchestras for Broadway musical productions in both the Orlando and Tallahassee area. In his free time, Justin enjoys spending time with his family and playing music with his friends.

Patrick has been playing violin for 17 years in his hometown of Tallahassee and now lives in Jacksonville. He is currently playing as a hobby, but has an extensive background in violin performance, and performing arts.

Patrick attended Chiles High School and was the 1st Chair for 2nd violins in the Chamber Orchestra, the upper level divisional orchestra at the school.

In 2009, the Chiles High School Chamber Orchestra won First Place in the High School Orchestra Division at the National Orchestra Festival in Atlanta. In 2010, Patrick’s senior year, the Chiles Chamber Orchestra received Gold Medal, Superior Rating, and Best in Class awards at Festival Disney in Orlando; where more than 40 schools from around the United States (and Canada) performed and competed.

In college, Patrick first attended Tallahassee Community College and performed with the Big Bend Community Orchestra in the fall of 2010. He continued to perform at weddings and theatrical productions throughout college and into his professional career.

Patrick earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology in 2015 from Florida State University, and currently works in the medical field in Jacksonville. In his free time, he loves to play tennis, bike, and eat pizza with his friends.

Michael is a skilled musician and experienced music teacher with a passion to share his love for music by equipping others to play, write and express themselves through the musical arts.

With a degree in Music Theory and Composition, a Master’s in educational leadership, 13 years of experience teaching music and more than 40 years of experience playing guitar, bass, piano, synthesizer, drums and percussion in various settings, Michael has the knowledge and ability to be an amazing contributor to any group of musicians in performance at any level or venue.

Over the course of his musical career, Michael has toured the country with a 12-piece band whom he wrote and arranged original music for, has written and arranged jingles for multiple large corporations and small businesses, and has composed and produced a full children’s album that sold in Sears stores nationwide.

Michael currently plays keys in the City Church Worship Band and is known as a fun, creative and supportive band leader. He enjoys his opportunities to play for any venue, particularly weddings, as he is a registered Pre-Marital counsellor and he and his wife have been married for 43 years.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Susana started to play the guitar at the age of 10 at Manuel Saumell Music Conservatory and continued her studies at Amadeo Roldan Music Conservatory. Susana holds a master’s degree from UTSA and a bachelor’s degree in Music with a major in guitar performance from Instituto Superior de Arte in Cuba. She is a first-year Doctoral student at Florida State University, Member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, the Hispanic Graduate Student Association, and the FSU Classical Guitar Society.

Susana has attended classes from Isaac Bustos, Matthew Dunne, Leo Brouwer, Joaquín Clerch, Ricardo Gallén, Marcos Tamayo, Eduardo Martín, Fabio Zanón, Eduardo Inestal, Denis Azabajic, and Bruce Holzman, among others. She has been member of several guitar ensembles like Sonantas Habaneras guitar orchestra (2005-2014), Cuarteto Guitarras de La Habana, Duo Con-Trastes (2010- 2018), and Duo Morningstar since 2019.

Susana has performed at Cuban international festivals like Identidades, International Guitar Festival of Havana, Festival of Contemporary Music, and International Chamber Music Festival. She was finalist in the 2020 Ex-Aequo International Classical Guitar Competition. With Morningstar duo she performed at the 2020 Southwest Guitar Symposium at UTSA. She participated in the Texas A&M International Guitar Symposium and Competition, and the 2019 GFA Convention and Competition. As a soloist Susana performed in 2019 in High schools and College in Brownsville, Texas and at the Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival in Mexico.

In 2014, she made a concert tour with Duo Con-Trastes in the South of France and performed a solo recital at the Paris’s American Cathedral. In 2017 she made another concert tour in France but this time with Cuarteto Guitarras de La Habana. Susana made a concert tour in Cuba as a soloist as part of the prize of the National Guitar Competition in 2010. She has played with several orchestras from Cuba including the Symphonic Orchestra from the Amadeo Roldán Music Conservatory conducted by Daiana García, Sonantas Habaneras guitar orchestra and the National Symphonic Orchestra of Cuba conducted by Enrique Pérez Mesa.

As an award-winning guitarist, her most recent award was the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi’s Love of Learning award during Fall 2020. This year she also won the Outstanding Guitar Performance award at UTSA and the 1st place on the 20th Annual COLFA Spring Research Conference in the graduate category. In 2012 she recorded solo and chamber music in "Jesus Ortega and Cuban Guitar" and "Cuban Landscape with Sonantas", a double album with Sonantas Habaneras Guitar Orquestra. In 2014, Duo Con-Trastes recorded their first album “Contrastes”, and more recently, in 2018 recorded the second album “Retratos” with Latin-American music. Susana has performed the premiere of several works for guitar including Promenade á l’après-midi for two guitars composed by Ashley Lucero and Concierto para guitarra y orquesta composed by Björn Raithel in the International Guitar Festival of Havana in 2018.

Sommer has been playing violin for 14 and wishes to pursue a career as a performing artist. She studying violin performance under the tutelage of Corinne Stillwell and is acting Concertmaster of the University Philharmonia Orchestra. Sommer has performed in many Master Classes with renowned artists such as Timothy Lees, Ray Chen, Frederik Øland, Itamar Zorman, and Jonathan Swartz.

She is an active chamber musician and traveled to Washington, DC with her FSU string quartet last fall to premiere new original compositions at the Smithsonian Institute. Sommer is a native of Sarasota, Florida where she studied privately with Mr. Sean O’Neil and played eleven seasons with the Sarasota Youth Orchestras; the final two as Concertmaster of the Philharmonic.

Sommer is a two-time Florida All-State musician and has received numerous MPA superior ratings. This summer, Sommer experienced her first year at Brevard Music Center where she learned from talented artists and faculty. She enjoyed playing a live orchestral performance of the musical “West Side Story” as Assistant Principal to a large audience at the Brevard Music Festival, as well as playing in the pit orchestra for Bernstein’s “Candide”. Sommer plans to gain a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance by 2021 and will go on to earn her Masters in Music degree.

Phillip, from Miami, Florida is an alumni of FAMU & FSU. He is a man of many talents who is also known as “KING P”. He is a song writing, recording artist and saxophonist. Outside his passion for music, he also loves children, skating and coaching football, basketball and track & field. As a saxophonist, he is credited as a platinum artist with his contribution to Ludacris album, Release Therapy. Other accomplishments include opening up for Tank, Atlantic Starr and headlining in multiple festival events. KingP is currently working on his 5th album, which he hopes will break him mainstream into the music industry!

Sammy is a jazz pianist and has been playing piano for 14 years. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance at Florida State University. Sammy has been performing for years in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area and Tallahassee. Between 2016 and 2020, Sammy has competed in the Savannah Swing Central Jazz Festival twice, performed in Carnegie Hall, and has competed in the Essentially Ellington competition twice at Lincoln Center. His music is all improvised live, making each performance something special!

Anna is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Havana, Florida. She's basically been a musician since she could walk and talk. She started with piano at three years old and started picking up other instruments as she got older-- currently she plays 25 instruments!

Anna developed a passion for singing as a teenager in her dad's church choir. She teaches private lessons, leads worship at her church, directs a community children's choir, and performs practically every weekend. She gets her inspiration from a lot of the classic 60s artists such as Simon and Garfunkel, the Mama's and the Papa's, and James Taylor, as well as Jazz influences like Billie Holiday and Rosemary Clooney. She strives to become a better musician every day, and you'll be able to hear how much heart and soul she pours into her music.

Nick is an accomplished violin soloist and chamber musician residing in Tallahassee. Nick is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Commercial Music. Nick has an extensive background of awards and scholarships, with summer program experience from Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan, Eastern Music Festival in North Carolina, Florida All-State Orchestra in Tampa, and ASTA National Orchestra Festival in Kentucky, in addition to numerous solo and quartet recitals for various organizations.

Nick was a member of the Tallahassee Youth Symphony Orchestra and President of his high school Orchestra at Lawton Chiles in Tallahassee, known as one of the top high school orchestras in the US, placing within the top 3 in several national competitions. Nick routinely performs for weddings and other forms of commercial entertainment, plus supports charitable causes such as the Tallahassee Tour of Homes and Maclay Gardens Camellia Christmas events.

In addition to his violin, Nick is also an accomplished acoustic and electric guitarist and drummer. In his free time, Nick enjoys snow skiing, surfing on the Atlantic coast and longboarding on any steep hill he can find in nearby areas.

Alexandra has been playing the violin for 18 years, and currently plays with the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and Mobile Symphony Orchestra. They received their Master's degree in violin performance under Dr. Ben Sung at Florida State University in April 2021, and were awarded an undergraduate degree in the same from the University of Alabama in 2019, where they studied with Jenny Gregoire. Growing up, Alexandra split their time between their family's apiary in Alberta, Canada and their family home in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Aside from playing music, Alexandra is an avid printmaker, knitter, and aspiring zymologist.
