East Coast Band was not only amazing on the day of, but incredible to work with leading up to our wedding. Our main point of contact was Paul who is awesome! They were the first vendor that we booked for our original date--booked back in December of 2018 after hearing rave reviews from a family friend and then going to see them ourselves, we didn't even look or go to hear any other bands play.

Our very large wedding was originally scheduled for May of 2020, but due to COVID-19 our plans had to change. When we reached out to East Coast about our new plans they were incredibly accommodating and worked with us on the date options we had with our venue to figure out which date would work best to get the same configuration we had originally settled on. After all of that replanning- we changed out plans AGAIN once we realized a 275 person wedding wasn't going to happen in November of 2020. So, with our third plan in place,- a much smaller, 45 person celebration- and with only 1 month notice we went back to Paul who was eager and excited to work with us on figuring out a new set up for the much smaller event.

Our crowd was particularly cautious given the pandemic, and our venue did not allow dancing- so we worked with Paul to figure out what would work for our long dinner party.

Fast forward to the day of the wedding and man did they deliver! Who knew a dinner party could be so much fun-- they absolutely NAILED our first dance song, took requests from the crowd and even let my husband's father play the guitar with them for a number of songs. They were great at keeping the crowd engaged, even at an unconventional wedding, and EVERYONE commented on how great they were. People were Impressed and had a great time, and we couldn't be more grateful and happy that we chose

Live music was one of the things we were most excited about for our wedding, and the best band we've ever heard was East Coast, who performed at the groom's brother's wedding back in 2019. We danced all night then and knew we had to hire the band for our wedding this summer. And they exceeded our high expectations! We received endless compliments about the music East Coast performed (especially star piano player Henry and the two fabulous vocalists) from our family and guests, and the general consensus is that the set list was flawless.

John and Paul were great collaborators in advance, taking our tastes into consideration, and we loved the set list so much we asked for it after the fact to keep it as a playlist. The team at East Coast was very professional before and during our event, and they helped us throw a kickass party. We cannot recommend them enough.

Of all the guests we've spoken to since our June 2024 wedding, every single one of them has mentioned how incredible the East Coast Band was. Friends have already requested their information for their own upcoming weddings. Not only are they super talented, but also incredibly easy to work with, checking in with us leading up to the event, and creating a perfect set for our intergenerational crowd. The dance floor was packed the entire night. (That's not an exaggeration. We've gotten some photos back where not one person is in their seat, including our 94-year-old grandmother!) In addition to hiring the 10-piece band for our reception, the East Coast Band also provided our ceremony music, a jazz trio for our cocktail hour, and a DJ for our after party. They have RANGE. We had selected really traditional, classical songs for our ceremony, everything from disco to country for our reception, and dancehall and throwback hip hop for our after party, and they delivered all night long. A great highlight was the way they performed our first dance song, as well as our parent dances. From the horn section and the rest of the amazing musicians, to the singers, and CC as our MC and bandleader, The East Coast band absolutely made our wedding the most fun night of our lives.
