Our modern, inviting Venue Rental spaces provide subtle elegance for your next event. Whether you are looking to host an intimate wedding for 100 or a large banquet for 700, we have the capacity to accommodate you at Seattle Design Center. With two unique Rental Spaces, we have a diverse facility with plenty of space for creative design and planning. Centrally located and easily accessible from both I-5 and WA-99, Seattle Design Center is a great choice for a variety of beautiful functions.

Mercer Island Community & Event Center
Nestled atop a hillside setting overlooking Luther Burbank Park, the MICEC offers panoramic views of Lake Washington, Mercer Island and the Cascade Mountains.
Get married on Mercer! Have your ceremony at one of our gorgeous parks. Afterward, amble your way over to the MICEC for a beautiful reception. Enjoy miles of sprawling park!

We had our reception for 320 guests at the Seattle Design Center. Jenifer was a dream to work with. She was helpful, available, knowledgeable and flexible. The space looked beautiful, warm and inviting. It is a big space so if you have a large guest count is allows for elbow room and space for kids to play. We hung lights across the atrium which dropped the ceiling and made the space feel more intimate. Rob hung these for us and Jenifer can provide his full name and contact info. He was also great to work with.

The Seattle Design Center is not known by many people as a venue for a wedding. I wanted an intimate, modern place for a black tie wedding. The venue was perfect. I would reccommend this venue to anyone wanting that perfect, gorgeous, hollywood feel for half the price.
