Caliber DJs is the BEST!!!! I have worked with Nate and his amazing team for a few years as a wedding planner, but this last weekend, it was my wedding, and I knew I had to work with Nate! He not only knows how to keep a dancefloor going, but he is also one of the most lovely people I have ever met. From the beginning of our wedding planning process, Nate was so extremely responsive and organized! I felt so comfortable with him in charge of the music, that I truly felt like I didn't even need to give him suggestions because he just gets it!! He was also so on top of everything from the second he was onsite. There was not a single problem the entire night because he is so prepared and easy to work with!
When it came to the dancing portion of the reception, the dancefloor was packed all night all because of him!! There was literally never a lull in the music. It was non stop dancing! The venue that I got married at also had a hard noise ordinance at 9:30pm, so Nate helped organize a silent disco for us, and it was SO MUCH FUN!!! I have gotten so many compliments about Nate and Caliber DJs since my wedding, and I am so happy that I got to work with him! Nate made my day so much fun, and I can't say enough amazing things about him! He is truly the best and will keep your guests dancing all night long! THANK YOU SO MUCH NATE!! -

We loved having Nate as our wedding DJ!! He was such a pro. Your DJ really sets the tone for the day, so we knew this was a very important vendor hire. Nate spent a lot of time getting to know us and our music preferences and vision for the day, and had a detailed questionnaire about our tastes and what we did/didn’t want played at the wedding.
An added plus was that he was familiar with both our planner and our venue. He knew all the details and foibles of the space (“It can get windy in the afternoon, so I find a hand-held mic is best for vows”). He works all around the Bay Area, so I wouldn’t be surprised if this were true for most venues.
On the day of, he was amazing. On the mic, he was charismatic and professional without being obtrusive – having been to a lot of weddings and seen a lot of DJs where that’s not always the case, that’s a hard balance to strike!! He kept the flow of speeches running smoothly, and his music choices perfectly set the tone for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner.
And on the dance floor, he killed it. Transitions were PERFECT, and he read the room as to what people were responding to and kept the flow of songs accordingly (you know how sometimes everyone will be getting down to a banger like “Yeah,” and then the DJ will abruptly switch to like, an obscure, slow Ed Sheerhan song and everyone kind of awkwardly stops dancing? Yeah, none of that with Nate). He played everything we requested, as well as nostalgic bangers that we had forgotten to include but slotted perfectly into the playlist. The party ramped up throughout the night and I fully credit Nate’s ability to command the dancefloor.
Hire Nate, you will love working with him – we definitely did!!! -

Nate, with Caliber Dj's was SUPERB!!!!! We had the best time! He had everyone out on the dance floor smiling, and dancing their booties off! He listened to what we were looking for and we couldn't have had a better time. NATE WAS GREAT!!! -

DJ of your Dreams
If you are looking for an amazing DJ you have found him! Nate was our wedding DJ and he did an absolutely phenomenal job. Let me start by saying he was great from the start. He is very responsive, always responded quickly to my emails and answered all of my questions. We had an in person meeting with us and he was so warm, kind and genuine we knew we had to book him. He was great with getting to know what we were looking for as far as music and what we wanted for our MC. I also surprised my groom with a performance and Nate was amazing coordinating that and never let on! Nate went the extra mile and even did a site visit with us and spoke to our location prior to the wedding day. The day of I could not have asked for a better MC or DJ. He is great at reading the crowd and knowing when something needs more time or when to speed things up. Invaluable on a very long day. He also got everyone out on the dance floor! He played something for everyone! From my 65 year old aunt to my 22 year old sister everyone had a great time on the dance floor. He made our day so special and I have only the best things to say about him. Thank you! -

User2330019 Sent on 09/23/2015Booking Nate at Caliber DJs was one of the best decisions we made in choosing vendors for our wedding day! Throughout the process he made himself available to us and answered any questions we had. We knew that he understood our tastes in music as well as providing music that would be pleasing to our guests. Nate was not invasive as an MC but also ensured that the evening moved along smoothly. As the bride, I spent most of the time on the dance floor as he played amazing music! Also, we are looking forward to receiving the MP3 of the entire evening so that we can relive the special moments (Nate provides this as an option for about $100 extra). What I really liked about his service is that he provided an all inclusive price for the sound for the ceremony and for the reception, which we didn't find with other larger entertainment companies who added fees for every specific service. We hope that you connect with Nate. You will not be disappointed!
