We couldn't have asked for a better venue. Gramercy had everything we were looking for: a place for the wedding party to stay, gorgeous grounds and decor, and charm for days. The entire staff was attentive, professional, and so friendly. They were super flexible and helpful with wedding chaos, and the complimentary breakfast each morning was a resounding hit. The grounds and the mansion itself are beyond gorgeous--it really was the most perfect day!! I can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else. I already can't wait for my next stay! -

Our friends recommended Gramercy Mansion for our wedding venue when we told them we were struggling to find the perfect spot for our enchanted forest theme. As soon as we laid eyes on this bed and breakfast, we were sold! Especially convenient is the fact that it serves as a bed and breakfast. We booked every room so our family and bridal party could stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and responsive. If at any point I had a question for them during the wedding planning process, they answered within the hour--always! We fell in love with this venue the second we saw it. Loved how the flowers and foliage looked for a fall wedding and every space from outside to inside was wonderful. We booked the entire b&b and the rooms were great and we loved not having to leave the venue after reception ended! Highly recommend! -

This is a very delayed review, but we got married at the Gramercy Mansion on Thursday 5/30/24 and it was nothing short of amazing. We had our Rehearsal on Wednesday/stayed the night, Wedding Thursday, Breakfast on Friday morning before checkout. Gramercy was the 1st venue we toured after getting engaged, and simply put, every venue we saw afterwards just couldn't beat it. We loved the outdoor gardens, being able to stay in the rooms, the eclectic decor inside the mansion, and all the natural beauty of the Atrium. The moment my husband and I walked around Gramercy we knew it was our venue. The grounds and gardens are gorgeous and the atrium is stunning when it's set up for the reception. Our guests raved about how they loved the mansion vibe! We loved that it doubled as a B&B for our family and bridal party to stay so it was extra special to have a mini vacation with everyone as well. The team was super responsive and everything went off perfectly! -

Gramercy Mansion was the perfect location for our reception. The gardens provided a beautiful backdrop for our outdoor photos and the indoor decor made the reception unique. We did not need many extra decorations because the Mansion is already stunning. We and the guests enjoyed having different rooms to explore and having seating throughout the first floor. The staff was very friendly and helpful with every step of the planning process. It was a definite plus that I was able to stay at Gramercy Mansion the night before the wedding, use the suite to get ready the morning of the wedding, and that we were able to stay the night after the wedding. Highly recommend the Gramercy Mansion for your event!

We’re so over the moon that we had our wedding reception at the Gramercy. The team was impeccable and the atmosphere was like being transported to another country or in a storybook. Everything was picture perfect. Regal, yet cozy and intimate. We’re so happy it’s a bed and breakfast too so that we can go back and relish in memories of our special day. We can’t wait for our anniversary. -

We’re a queer couple and Gramercy was the first and only venue we toured. We fell in love with the place instantly. We love gardens. We love antiques. We love old houses. It just felt right. We wanted to get married somewhere that felt fun and special and romantic. We wanted our guests feel unburdened by normal life for a few hours. The staff was helpful and kind. (There was a last minute cannoli rescue operation undertaken by a lovely staff member. Thank you so much!) The whole experience was positive. And I’m grateful that such a beautiful place is the backdrop for these happy memories. Thank you. -

My wife and I probably visited Gramercy over 10 times and called the front desk even more over the 1.5 years of our engagement leading up to our wedding. We loved how friendly and accommodating every person we've spoken with at Gramercy has been each time we visit. For every question that popped in our heads, we were always able to get a quick and helpful answer over the phone or over email. The team at Gramercy is absolutely amazing, and they do an incredible job at maintaining the house and gardens to look magical each day! Gramercy is a fantastic place to get married and provides a welcoming community both before and after the wedding! We stayed here for NYE the year before our wedding and got a good sense of the beautiful rooms and the delicious food.
The place is stunning and saved me a ton of stress worrying about decor -- they have this in spades. The staff is super helpful and super responsive to both emails and phone calls.
My dad in particular was impressed by the staff. We were posing for pictures in the foyer and the photographer commented that she wished she had a ladder to change the angle of the pictures. In about 10 seconds flat, the Gramercy... -

Aside from being one of the most beautiful venues in Maryland, all the staff at Gramercy was spectacular right from the start. You literally can't go wrong booking here. You get world class service, beautiful rooms, incredibly manicured gardens, and an entire venue that requires no decoration at all because the mansion is naturally beautiful all on its own. The married couple also gets 50% off for a one night stay which made things so easy plus a delicious breakfast.
My only advice is if you have a specific date in mind to book it immediately. Gramercy fills up quick and for good reason! You literally can't go wrong booking here! -

Gramercy is truly a beautiful garden escape! We had the Carriage House booked for Sept 2020 but Covid caused the delay. We ended up eloping in 2021 and exchanged vows in front of Gramercy’s gazebo and then we came back in 2022 for the celebration. The gardens are magical and all of our guests just could not stop complimenting how beautiful the gardens, the mansion and the carriage house is! We stayed in the mansion in the Cassatt Suite - the breakfast was so filling and the owner, Ann came over and congratulated us! Everyone there is so helpful and friendly. We could not have found a better venue! -

Before deciding on Gramercy Mansion, we toured nearly 20 wedding venues in Baltimore and surrounding areas. We were very nervous when we finally made a decision to book Gramercy, but this decision turned out to be one of the best ones we have made in our lives.
We booked the Platinum Wedding Weekend Package. This allowed us to have full access to the mansion Friday afternoon through Sunday morning. We highly recommend this package as, even though it is more expensive, it allows you to get up to 30 of your closest friends and family together for the entire weekend, not just the wedding itself. I don’t have words good enough for Gramercy Mansion. We got married in the Carriage House on 10/10. Every part of the property grounds is breathtakingly beautiful. Our guests felt like they had been transported to another world… exactly the goal for our whimsical wedding. Everyone commented on how stunning it was.
From the first tour to booking the wedding to making space in their crazy Covid schedule for our rehearsal to answering so many questions over the phone to rehearsal night to wedding day and the 2 nights we spent in the mansion following the wedding, the staff at Gramercy was phenomenal. The venue and grounds are absolutely beautiful! My guests were absolutely blown away by how gorgeous every part of the mansion was, and you could walk through the gardens for hours, they're so beautiful! Perfect for taking tons of photos and a garden themed wedding.
Cons: There's no provided bridal suite for the bridal party to get ready in, so we booked the Garden Suite for the weekend, but it was spacious with tons of natural lighting. Perfect for photos. There's also no on-site coordinator or event contact, so just make sure you have plans to in place to have your own day of. -

Gramercy was very understanding about the pandemic, they still allowed us to have our special day and we got to do it twice! We are very thankful we had such a great and memorable experience. Unfortunately we weren't able to have all the guests we paid for but the pandemic took that from us. :( -

I absolutely loved everything about Gramercy! Not only is it a beautiful mansion with gorgeous gardens, but the staff were nothing but kind and accommodating during the entire planning process, which wasn't always easy during the COVID-19 pandemic! Despite me constantly calling their office or emailing them, the staff were always incredibly responsive, patient, and informative. They made planning so easy! We stayed at Gramercy the night before the wedding as well as the night after, and the Cassatt Suite was so comfortable and beautiful. We felt like royalty! I also had my girls and I get ready in that room on the morning of the wedding which was so convenient and made everything that much nicer.

We started our wedding planing early 2020, then everything closed due to COVID. We had to wait to find a venue until we could meet with our church to set a date. Once things opened back up for that and we set a date we started looking at the places we looked before the church down. Our top choice was no longer available for our date. A lot of places were booked for our date due to reschedules. We went to the places within the distance we wanted that was still available. I had dreamed.. for years to have my wedding at the Gramercy and when we finally got to visit we knew right away it was the spot to say our forever I do’s. It was literally a dream come true.
