I would recommend all of my vendors except Mostly Becky to any other bride. If you want a transparently-priced planning process and a smooth, well-coordinated wedding day, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. While my wedding looked beautiful from their design services, the logistics were an absolute disaster and showed very little care or thought.

My wife and I hired Mostly Becky to do planning and design for our wedding in Des Moines, Iowa. We both had recently moved to Des Moines from Chicago, so we had about 200 guests coming from out of town and wanted to ensure that we had a magical wedding for them to attend. Mostly Becky delivered. Mostly Becky's professional team met with us at every step in the process. My wife had a strong vision of what she wanted the wedding to be like, the vibes, and many of the specifics. They were able to make our dreams a reality. Mostly Becky's team made our wedding day feel more like a party we got to attend rather than a party we had to manage! We were lucky to be paired with Amanda and Juliet for day-of-coordinating , and they were such an important part of our day. From coordinating with vendors ahead of time to Amanda literally letting me stand on her jacket to avoid getting my dress wet from the rain soaked pavement, we as a couple, family, and friends were all taken care of so well. -

The Mostly Becky team was excellent. I hired them for the day of service and worked with Amanda. I appreciated that they went over the timeline with me and allowed me to give feedback for my wants. Also, they took the lead on contacting my vendors with it, which I so appreciated it.
On the wedding day I knew they were there but they weren't hovering over me the entire time.
The following day I mentioned to my mom that I don't even know if anything went wrong or if there were any hiccups with setup, vendors, workers, etc and that's kind of the point of having them. Maybe everything went totally fine, maybe it... -

We loved getting to work with Becky at one of our Florida weddings!! She was great to communicate with leading up to the day and was just as wonderful the day of. She kept everything running smoothly and was quick to answer any questions we had so photos and video could also run smoothly. She and her team are the full package and we'd highly recommend her! -

“Wedding Planner” truly does not even begin to entail all the Becky is and does!! She is truly amazing and every brides best friend!! I felt her genuineness from the moment I met her. Becky was amazing from the very beginning! Every spur of the moment idea of mine was made reality within minutes by Becky! She took my dreams and made them art for my wedding day, even more so than I had imagined. She was also an absolute pleasure to have on the day. She naturally commanded the attention of everyone when needed, but was a also a reassuring friend to me, the wedding party, and the family. Given how organized I am, I found myself questioning if working with a wedding planner was really worth it. The answer for us was absolutely YES. 90% of our guests came from out of state, so we did not have a lot of people locally to rely on for help; that, combined with all of the changes necessary in times of COVID, and it was really valuable to us to have a whole TEAM on top of it. I had some concerns about working pre-event with Becky, having another staff present for our rehearsal, and then 2 other staff there for the event, but they were ON IT and AMAZING. I had Kari Crisman with MostlyBecky, and absolutely loved her. With the pandemic going on, there were a lot of different things we had to worry about. She did an awesome job of letting me know what we could and could not do (and why) when it came to decorations. She would check with the venue on things if she wasn't 100% sure, to me that is huge that she checked before just making the call on things. She did a great job contacting me when she needed something, and I never felt annoyed or bothered by her when we needed to get in touch.
