  Second Slices was the best company to work with for my wedding!! Rosmari, the baker, is Brazilian, and since I am Brazilian too I asked if she could make some Brazilian treats to go with it. It wasn’t her field but yet she went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and our dessert table looked AMAZING!! Since the wedding was on St Patrick’s day, she also made sure all our desserts was personalized. The cake topper was done by her too because I couldn’t find anything fitting. It didn’t matter the time of the day they were always ready to reply and to meet whenever we needed it. I recommend Second Slices big time!!

  They made a fantastic Birthday cake for my little girl. It was better than the pictures.

  I've been getting event cakes from second slices for years now and will continue to use their service. Every single time the cakes have come out 10 times greater then I expected. Not to mention how flexible they are with the ingredients they use. They are able to accommodate anyone. The cake is always sooooo delicious, my guests ALWAYS ask for a second slice....no left overs for me :(

  I have nothing but good things to say about Second slices Cakery (Rosmari & Geoff). After much research, my husband and i decided to go with them for our wedding cake. We brought them pictures of what we wanted and they were more than helpful in making sure our wish was granted. In fact, they even exceeded our expectations. They worked with us to stay within our budget which was a deal breaker for us. They even had options for us to have one tier dairy free since my husband cant eat dairy products. When we went for the cake tasting, they had about 7 different options for us to choose from and they were all so delicious!! The cake was delicious and not too sweet. Communicating with them was also very easy as they respond to emails quickly and wholeheartedly want to help their clients. I highly recommend them!

  I havr ordered 3 cakes
  (2 birthdays and baptism) from secondslices. The cakea were made to perfection. They were able to design the cake as the exact image i provided. The cakes tasted as good as it look the flavours were very unique (my favourite coconut and rasberry swirl) .My guest were impresed with flavours and the fact the cakes were not too sweet. I am so glad i choose secondslices.

  This was the 2nd time I order a birthday cake. Both times were to celebrate a grandchild's 1st birthday. The cakes (both) were sculptured to exactly what we asked for. A jungle theme for my grandson and an elegant looking cake for my granddaughter. My 1 year old grandson examined each character on the cake and then would reach for it and EAT it. My granddaughter picked the boxes & pursue off the cake and squashed it and then ate it. But, there was still the rest of the cake for the parents & guest. A red velvet for my grandson & a vanilla cream for my granddaughter. The adults are still taking about these cakes today, 1 to 2 years after the party. The cakes were exquisite and delicious. 2nd Slice delivered them both. The quality & service justify the reasonable prices for these cakes.

My guests absolutely loved it and asked for a second piece. The Second Slices crew are very friendly, delivered my cake on time and their creativity is amazing. I do recommend Second Slices to make your cake because I am 100% sure that you will not be disappointed. Thank you Second Slices to make my party even more memorable.

  I am still amazed by the work done, I had a cake in the form of a hennessy bottle not only was the design flawless but the cake was excellent everything was perfect i have never seen such beautiful work and professionalism, Second Slices is where i will be getting my cakes for a very long time to come.   Second Slices only uses real ingredients. They were easy to work with, friendly, flexible and very quick at responding. Not only were they our vendors for wedding cake, but they have become good friends of ours and we were so lucky to have them be a part of our huge wedding of 450+ guests!
  
  P.S. My wedding cupcakes looked gorgeous, and it was so delicious that it was all gone before even the bridal entourage can even eat one. Guests are still asking to this day where I got my awesome wedding cupcakes at! Second Slices will be on the top of my list for any big occassion I have from now on.

  Second Slices provided us with cupcakes for a Wedding Anniversary party. They went out of their way to work with our colour scheme, but most of all the product was as delicious as it was well presented. They catered to the special diets of some of our guest with a first rate product.

Our only regret is that we no longer live in Edmonton and so we can't order more cake and all other cakes have lost their appeal!

She listened to our vision and then came up with some great suggestions of her own that added to the presentation of our olive branch themed cake. She created a beautiful display with the cake at the venue. She was very prompt and professional. She takes pride in her work and this shows in the quality of her cakes. This was by far the most delicious wedding cake I have tasted!! Thank you Rosmari! Rest assured that your cake will be delivered on time and will look amazing! We would definitely use Rosmari's services in the future for other special occasions in our life!

  Our cake turned out exactly as we wanted. They recreated the picture we showed them exactly! Their cake is also delicious. I've had some really gross fondant in the past but seconde slices fondant didn't taste fake. We got three layers. a white, red velvet and carrot! all three i would recommend. They were very moist! the carrot was the best!
