Spacious and versatile, this blank canvas-style locale is designed especially for imaginative experiences. Often used for the performing arts, the building exudes a sense of charismatic charm. Here, you and your to-be-wed partner will have the opportunity to bring your vision to life in a space that is truly transformative.
Facilities and Capacity
Begin your big day by preparing alongside your party in the private dressing rooms. Your get-ready process will feel lavish and light as you are surrounded by a host of convenient amenities and your nearest and dearest. When nuptial proceedings get underway, you and your entourage will make your way to the ceremony site. High ceilings and an urban-industrial aesthetic are consistent features throughout the venue’s various rooms. Exchange vows in front of a tasteful exposed-brick backdrop with ample natural light cascading down from a multitude of large windows. Afterward, have your wedding photographs in front of the main space’s corner cyclorama for some epic, infinity background imagery. Your reception layout will look immaculate spread out over 10PRL’s cozy hardwood floors. Make some space for a dance floor and celebrate with your loved ones throughout a night focused on you and your matrimony.

Alvine is the Venue Manager for 10PRL. She has been planning events for over 10 years for both couples and coorporations. Some of her events planned have been for the Japanese Ambassador of NYC, the Japanese National Tourism Organization, Funnimation, various LGBT organizations, community leaders, and for couples like you. She has a passion for working with DIY couples to make their dreams a reality. When she is not planning an event, she can be found relaxing with her Fiance and playing with her cat and dog.

April Centrone is an educator, multi-instrumentalist, music therapist, entrepreneur and film producer based in the NYC area.
As a musician and teacher, April specializes in drums, percussion and the Arabic oud. As a hand percussionist, she specializes in the Arabic riqq, darbuka and frame drum, mentored by late riqq legend, Michel Merhej Baklouk. April has toured throughout the Americas, Asia, Middle East, Far East, New Zealand and Europe as a performer and educator. She toured for two years throughout Lebanon with Ziad Rahbani (son of Fairouz, the diva of Lebanon) in his Arabic orchestra and jazz ensemble, and performed in worldwide events with Bassam Saba, Marcel Khalife, and the Absolute Ensemble. Between 2007 and 2012, she worked with inner-city youth teaching Arabic music and percussion, and coordinating other teaching artists in different world musics, via programs such as Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Connect and Musicians For Harmony.
From 2013 to 2018, she worked overseas with Syrian refugee youth via project Juthoor, created by her and Nisreen Nasser, and Palestinian refugee youth via project Kamandjati, in Shatila and various camps throughout Lebanon; and worked with young women in safe houses and Rohingya refugee youth in a Music Therapy tour sponsored by the U.S. Embassy of Malaysia. She has performed in festivals such as Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors (NYC), World Music Festival of New Zealand, Festival Musicas Do Mundo (PT), Marciac Jazz Festival (FR), Beirut Jazz Festival (LB), and Taipei Chinese Orchestra Silk Road Festival (TW), and venues such as NYC Opera House, the United Nations, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall. In the jazz and experimental world, she has toured with Secret Chiefs 3 as opener for Primus, Karl Berger’s Improvisor’s Orchestra, Eyvind Kang and Peter Apfelbaum’s Sparkle Trio, among others. In September of 2019, she created 10PRL, women-owned 6,500 sq ft industrial wedding & event venue, film & photo studio, arts space and dance studios in Long Branch, NJ, and in 2020 launched 10PRL Productions, full-fledged in-house production specializing in filmmaking for all things from corporate to creative.

Kira Sanchez was born in Barinas, Venezuela. She started playing guitar, bass and piano at age 16. Inspired by Venezuelan folk and American rock music, she starting joining local bands and playing in venues around her city. At age 18, she began her studies in industrial engineering in Venezuela. Soon after graduating university, she moved to New York where she dove deeply into photography and video. Currently, she shoots and edits photo and video for the NY Arabic Orchestra, nonprofit organization for Arabic music performance and education in New York City, and shoots/edits for other local projects in NY/NJ. She performs on bass, keys and percussion in Arabic/world and experimental rock projects with her wife, April, with whom she lives on the Jersey Shore.
