In a sea of spectacular musical talent that makes Nashville ‘Music City’, Dustin Hanusch is an absolute gem!!! He provided his talents at our wedding and dinner immediately afterward. Beyond his mastery of the guitar, and a diverse repertoire, what set Dustin apart for us was his exceptionally positive attitude and enthusiasm.

In the search for a musician for our wedding, we requested a piece by Franz Schubert as the processional, Piano Sonata No 20 in A Major, D. 959 IV Rondo Allegretto (some may recognize the melody as the theme song to the 80s sitcom ‘Wings’). I searched for any arrangement of this piece for guitar, to no avail.

Dustin was the only artist who responded with an enthusiasm to learn and adapt the piece for guitar. We were sold by such a willingness to do this -we signed right away!

Later, I asked if he was familiar with ‘Everybody Loves Somebody’ (Dean Martin classic) (for the recessional) and again, he warmly responded with a positive attitude toward learning the piece!!

At the wedding, he was perfect!! He played a wide variety of music (to include the new pieces) that added the perfect touch of warmth and class to both the ceremony and the dinner. Our guests loved him and raved ‘where did you find Dustin? He is so awesome!’ The answer of course was ‘Hello- Music City!’ But in all honesty, his talent, positivity and warmth found us.
