For many years we have delivered the best in mobile entertainment. We have performed for delighted guests at thousands of events, including Weddings, Anniversaries, Private Parties, Corporate Functions, School Dances, and Class Reunions. Using our years of experience, we are able to select music that will keep your guests dancing, entertained and having the time of their lives. Working closely with our customers, their guests, and other vendors (such as venue staff and photographers/videographers), our professional mobile DJs strive to provide quality entertainment that fits the event in question in terms of style and performance.
Kathy Smith is the owner of A & K Entertainment and has been a local DJ since 1998. She is an entertainment director that has been DJing at multiple weddings, school dances, birthday parties, reunions, and corporate events throughout the years. In 2006, she decided to open her own business, A & K Entertainment, alongside her husband. She is known as one of the only female DJ's in the area that knows how to say the right things and get the party started. She is known for "getting out there" with the guests and making sure that everyone is out of their seats and having a good time. She will give 150% to make sure that your event is perfect.
Alan Smith is co-owner of A & K Entertainment and has been a DJ since 2006. He is a technical director/entertainment assistant known for making Kathy "look good" by making sure music is the correct volume, played on cue, and by playing the "right song" at the right time. He compliments Kathy as a great team player and the two work extremely well together. Alan also specializes in hip-hop dancing and his famous "Billie Jean" routine is asked for frequently.
