Tony began his food career at 16 as a dishwasher/busboy at a 24 hour pancake house on the Jersey Shore. He was quickly promoted to grill man and it was game on from that point forward. Fast forward a handful of decades and he built the A Movable Feast Food Truck in the wake of Hurricane Irma. At the time he was working as a food and beverage Director for a resort in Marathon that was taken out by the storm. He had previously purchased an RV with the intention of eventually renovating it into a Food Truck/Catering vehicle, so after Irma he focused entirely on building the truck and he was ready to start serving in March of 2018.

He runs the truck with his wife Maryna. She is from Europe so our mantra is Keys Flavor, European Flair and they try to express a healthy dose of both through their cuisine.

Maryna was born and raised in the small village of Ichnia, Ukraine where she owned several businesses – one of which being a bakery where they baked and served many varieties of traditional breads, cakes, pies and pastries. Her wanderlust has taken her all over the globe where she encountered many different cultures and customs, as well as culinary practices. As she explored America, she was in the Florida Keys when she and Tony met. They originally experienced somewhat of a language barrier but were amazingly able to communicate through other means – one of which was food and drink. They grew together as they experienced each other’s recipes, preparations and techniques. His as a chef and hers as a baker. They married each other as well as married their skills through A Movable Feast which thrives in the pairing and expertise of both.
