Matt (Above & Beyond DJ) was recommended to us by our venue. (He's on their "short list" of vendors they've had positive experiences with in the past.) I approached him in March 2008 and booked him for our September 2008 wedding. He was energetic and eager to make us happy. He has some standard worksheets to help you plan what music you're going to use and when. We provided him with a ... unique set list and he filled in with music that fit very well. He has a wireless speaker system that I thought was a plus (he could make music happen wherever we wanted it). And he has sheets and sheets of popular music choices by genre. He was easy to work with and timely in his responses to us. He did a good job as the Master of Ceremonies and I would recommend him to anybody looking for a DJ.

Matt was so fantastic! He was very responsive, well-organized, so helpful in giving suggestions for music. We gave him a few songs to show him what type of music we like, and he went with it, which was a success! During the day, he was quick to adapt to the timelines and various changes, he did so well on-the-fly, and I really couldn't have found a more patient DJ and MC. At the end of the day, he gave us a CD of the key songs that were played and I loved that. He really does go above and beyond!

Matt was AWESOME!! We had a specific list of songs we wanted to be played. We didn't want a MC, nor crowd warmer, nor various people having the privilege of taking the mic and talking. He would have done all those things if we had asked, but that wasn't what we were looking for. He dressed nicely per request. He was flawless and we'd hire him again in an instant!!!
