We originally did not hire a wedding planner for my daughter’s wedding as it seemed to be out of our budget. We did fine for the first 9 months or so, finding the venue and the major vendors on our own. But then about 3 months before the wedding, the reality and stress of tackling all the “small” but oh-so-important details started to become overwhelm us. One day, while we were at the wedding venue trying to plan the layout, we ran into Ashley at our venue. We said hello and she literally started giving us free advice about our layout decisions. She was so helpful and thought of things we never would have – and we weren’t even clients! Needless to say, I ended up calling her the next day and hiring A|C Events as our “Day of Coordinator,” which included so more than just the “day of” the wedding, but also included two virtual meetings in the weeks before the wedding, creating a detailed timeline of the wedding day, a walk-through at the venue to go over the timeline, flow and all of the wedding details, as well as being there for the rehearsal, and taking charge of set up the day before and day of the wedding. She created a shared file online for my daughter to upload all of her inspiration and actual décor pictures so that Ashley knew exactly what everything needed to look like on the wedding day. As for the day of the wedding, Ashley was amazing – she executed my daughter’s vision for her wedding flawlessly! She came early and supervised the entire set up of the ceremony and the reception areas, ensuring that everything was placed exactly as my daughter wanted. Ashley’s organization, hard work and planning allowed me to relax and just simply be the Mother of the Bride on the big day! If there were hiccups that came up, Ashley had everything covered! I highly recommend Ashley and A|C Events! Even if you think you don’t need or can’t afford a wedding planner, A|C Events and Ashley are priceless!
