About
Hello! My name is Whitney Alderson and I'm the owner and professional photographer behind Alderson Studios. I'm engaged to my college sweetheart and we live in a 1920s era home in Broad Ripple, Indiana. My photography style is often described as romantic, dramatic, and timeless. I'm obsessed with finding that dreamy light to make your special moments look absolutely magical.
With over a decade behind the camera lens, I have a multitude of experience with weddings, engagements, and creative portraits. I have also spent five years as the official photographer for the Indianapolis Indians and currently shoot for the Indianapolis Art Center. I have a bachelor’s degree in studio art and a portfolio of images that have appeared in many local and national publications (Sophisticated Living, Indianapolis Monthly, Indy Star, and more). Photography is more than just a job to me, it's my passion! I love meeting new people and I aim to create lasting relationships with my clients. I want you to feel all the feels when you look at one of my photos.
But most of all you should know that I would be honored to tell your story! I am a perfectionist, which means I'll be where I need to be to capture all the moments, big and small. And once the big day is over, I'll carefully edit your photos until they're just right. I can't wait to meet you!
