The Who

Hello, my name is Alton. I'm a Wedding & Elopement Photographer based out of Northern, Colorado specializing in both modern and traditional weddings as well as adventure elopements.

Having worked for over a decade in the Outdoor Industry as a commercial and lifestyle photographer, chasing around some of the worlds best rock climbers and skiers; I've developed an extensive portfolio of far flung adventures and have been printed in numerous outdoor magazines and brand catalogs.

With storytelling first & foremost, I strive to capture real, intimte moments while delivering signature masterpiece work at the highest possible level.

The What

I take a mostly documentary approach to my photography while adding an element of fine art; capturing the intimate and quiet moments that happen throughout a day. I prefer to prompt rather than pose, providing opportunities for couples to interact naturally and organically. With a heavy focus on natural light, I'm constantly playing with the sun & shadows, finding something unique and extraordinary in the ordinary.

My images are bold and epic, yet intimate and artistic.

The Why

Weddings are a rush, there are once in a lifetime, never again to be repeated moments. It’s one thing to take a snapshot of these events to look at later. But creating lasting memories, through gorgeous high-quality professional images, creates a capsule of these moments to last forever.

I don’t just show up and photograph weddings. I prefer to work with couples to create the best possible images together, something I’m proud of as an artist and something you and your family will love and hold dear from years to come.

Weddings aren’t a transaction, they’re a creative process and one that should and deserves to be enjoyed throughout.
