Our passion and design aesthetic comes for the world around us. We hope that our designs evoke warmth in the soul and a simple reconnection with nature. We believe that bringing it back to nature is what produces an innate happiness in all of us and that’s our underlying goal… to bring a small amount of joy to each individual who comes in contact with one of our designs.

Stunning florals
We knew Kelsey was the vendor for us immediately after we got off the phone with her. She is flexible, accommodating, responsive, honest about what looks good (even if it might be the less expensive option), and completely willing to work within budget. We were blown away when we saw our florals on the day of the wedding, and our guests said they had never seen anything like it. my name is Kelsey ~ the founder of American Stems & the lead designer ~ I’m 26 years old, a cancer sign, and have a deep passion for the world around me. I get excited about baby pinecones, the way the moon looks in the sky on a clear night, wildflowers on the side of the road, oat milk lattes from that boutique coffee shop down the street, how fluffy highland cattle are & lots more. I’m the type that gasps out loud in excitement anytime I see a dog or secretly waves to dogs as I walk down the street... lol anyone else?! ~
nevertheless... let’s talk about AS ~
I started this journey not pumped about applying for office jobs out of college. I really had no idea what I wanted to do & every interview I went on left me feeling so anxious that I would get in my car and just start crying (probably me being an overly dramatic college graduate) 🥴however!!! It forced me to seek an alternative route that brought me to where I am today.
I took a job on a flower farm in upton, ma ~ @fiveforkfarms ~ it was there where I learned everything I know. I learned how to care for flowers, how to harvest, how to condition flowers post harvest, how to quality control, how to design, sales & marketing of flowers, I learned it all. And, I loved it. And, it gave me the courage and confidence to start my own thing. I’ll be forever grateful for that experience ❤️
Currently, I’m the sole employee of American Stems ~ the one managing the day to day, coming up with new services, working with brides, editing my website, pushing my Jeep to the limit picking up product, making deliveries, and packing it to the brim on wedding days.
American Stems is three years old, growing more than ever, and I am so excited to continue bringing joy and warmth to all my customers! Let's work together!
