Anchorage 1770 Inn is a wedding venue located in Beaufort, South Carolina. The Federalist-style manor is family owned and operated by Amy and Frank Lesesne, who uprooted their busy lives in Atlanta when they purchased the estate. Eager to relocate closer to the coast, they fell in love with the house, which is the oldest and largest Tabby structure still in use. The property is situated along Beaufort Marina waterfront, where couples and their guests can enjoy breathtaking views and elegant accommodations on their extraordinary occasion.

Facilities and Capacity
Visitors arriving at Anchorage 1770 Inn will immediately notice the mansion’s tall, pristine white columns and wrap-around verandah. This porch, set with chic lounge furniture and surrounded by lush green foliage, can host cocktail hours and small ceremonies. Vows can also be exchanged in the Water View Garden or on the rooftop patio, where the Lowcountry will provide a picturesque backdrop. Couples can also utilize the grand staircase and gorgeous dining room for formal entrances and the reception dinner. Use of the venue comes with overnight accommodations for the newlyweds and their guests. Each room at the inn is unique, tastefully furnished, and features a variety of waterfront and garden views. These suites also boast large bay windows, exposed timber ceilings, hardwood floors, original Adams Mantels, and plasterwork detail dating back to the 1800s. For more privacy, the wedding party can stay in the Cottage, where two secluded apartments come with French doors, a balcony, and gas fireplaces.

Anchorage 1770 Inn offers three wedding packages to accommodate nuptials of different sizes and styles. The Elopement Package comes with one night stay at the hotel, a private ceremony site, an officiant, small bouquet, six-inch cake, and bottle of champagne. The Small Group Wedding Package includes five additional rooms and a two-night minimum stay. The 1770 Buy Out adds 15 rooms and a ceremony location that can accommodate up to 60 guests.
