Owner and writer, Molly Leikin, creates your unique vows, toasts, and speeches to help make your special day, a miracle day. An Emmy nominee, Molly taps into her overflowing basket of beautiful words to say what's in your heart. After an hour of telephone time, during which she gets to know you, and how you speak, she starts writing in your voice, not hers. With your permission, of course, she adds a little humor, in addition to your solemn vows. It's an honor for Molly to be part of your celebration.
Services Offered
Anything With Words is a strictly confidential service. Molly doesn’t disclose her clients to anyone without permission, allowing you to take full credit for the work she provides for your special day. She has an extensive portfolio of writing samples which you can browse to get a sense of her style. Examples of people who have availed of her services in the past include Ms. France, Cher, The Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Hadassah, and a member of the Canadian Parliament. Anything With Words was established when Molly Leikin (rhymes with bacon) was only eight years old. Her cranky teacher invited her to write “I must not chew gum in school” one hundred times, with a quill pen and ink. Molly did so well, her teacher gave her a second assignment, “I must not talk in class,” one thousand times.
After college and completing her Ph.D. at The I Didn’t Do It Traffic School, she stuffed her dented VW bug with Fig Newtons, MacIntosh apples plus her baritone ukulele, and plowed through a 58-degree below zero Canadian blizzard to Los Angeles, to become a songwriter.
Now an Emmy nominee, Molly has written with/for everyone from Katy Perry to Cher, Tina Turner, Anne Murray, Billy Preston, Glen Campbell, Placido Domingo - even Yitzi Ya Ya and the Yo Yo’s.
She has also created themes and songs for over six dozen TV shows and movies, including Violet, which won an Oscar. In addition, she penned eight books on songwriting.
Known for her romantic fingerprint, her wit, plus her sense of humor, she was asked to write speeches for the legends of Rock ‘n Roll. So Molly expanded Anything with Words to include custom vows, toasts and speeches for discriminating brides, fathers of the bride, mothers of the bride, best men, maids of honor, plus the extremely competitive category of best cockapoos. The subjects of not talking in class and not chewing gum haven’t come up again..
Everything Molly creates is completely private, except when a patron gives her permission to use her/his name.
Her clients come back to Anything with Words again and again, for all their milestone occasions.
Molly lives in California, takes brisk daily walks along the ocean, collects contemporary art, flosses, and makes a world-class sour cream cinnamon-raisin coffee cake, nuts optional. If you eat it standing up, and nobody sees you, there are no calories.
