Very happy with our decision with using Backmann Florist for our wedding day! I came in unannounced and they still took their time in listening and helping me create my wedding day image! The quality of the flowers was incredible!

Our initial contact with Backmann Florist was a sit-down consultation. Mary spent over two hours discussing various options. She was enthusiastic, warm and very receptive to our ideas. The quote she provided was extremely reasonable, and we definitely got more than our money's worth. Our arrangements and bouquets/bouttonnieres/corsages were stunning and creatively designed; Mary even used floral spray paint to transform white hydrangeas into orange and pink blooms to match our colour scheme. A free "tossing" bouquet was included with our package.

One thing definitely bears mentioning. When we were forced to postpone our wedding due to immigration delays, the folks at Backmann, rather than simply keeping our deposit, wrote us a cheque for the full amount as soon as we informed them of our quandary. We were extremely impressed by their kindness, and immediately re-booked them as soon as our new wedding date was confirmed.

It was a simple request really, I called first thing in the morning, please deliver some flowers to my wife ($60) by 3pm. After 3pm, she's off to school to pick up the kids. Did they manage it?
NO! ... and not only that, when I called to inquire about it, the excuse was "we tried calling, but nobody answered, so we didn't deliver. Guess what time the call was? 3pm!!
When I complained, the man I was speaking with yelled out "somebody pick up this line before I have to beat this guy". I then got someone senior who was equally abusive and unapologetic. He also refused to acknowledge that he had heard his employee say the above "beat this guy" line. Never doing business with them again. Abusive, and can't even do a simple nearby delivery.
