Born in Youngstown, Ohio and raised in Poland, Ohio, Gabriele Barnhizer fell in love with baking in grade school. She spent much of her childhood experimenting with baking and trying out new recipes with her mom.

After graduating high school, Gabriele attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Baking and Pastry. She spent a year working at a French patisserie in Pittsburgh before moving to Columbus where she spent a year working at an American-style bakery.

When she’s not hard at work baking, Gabriele enjoys painting and illustrating, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family.

Catherine is the Customer Service Manager and Social Media Ambassador for Bake Me Treats. She was born and raised in Youngstown, and graduated from Poland High School. After graduation she attended Youngstown State University, earning a BFA with a concentration in photography.

Catherine operates the social media accounts, creates all social media content, does event planning and helps conceptualize new flavors. Although she doesn’t do any baking, her sweet tooth has definitely helped.

When she’s not at work, Catherine enjoys crafting and spending time with her family.
