The Bangor Elevator is a wedding venue located in Bangor, Michigan. Both rustic and elegant with all the comforts you will want for your momentous occasion, Bangor Elevator is the perfect venue for your wedding day! Your guests will be stunned by the detail and unique beauty of this building. With its’ rough-hewn beams and towering vaulted ceiling, it is a rare historical gem. It was first built in 1873 and used as a working grain elevator until 2001. It was rescued from demolition and meticulously restored. This beautiful structure was given the Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation in 2009, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Now Bangor Elevator houses a small microbrewery which serves a bespoke craft beer list, with house made wine and spirits coming in 2022. With our partner bar service you can also bring in your own selection of spirits and provide a full bar to your family and friends in celebration of your newly minted marriage. We offer a homestyle catered menu or if you have a vendor in mind - we welcome any licensed caterer willing to work within our sustainability guidelines. Our aim is to create your version of the perfect wedding day that is affordable to the average family, while still making the planning process enjoyable and stress free. Furniture, linens, place settings, a huge decor selection, and our signature vintage goblets (which help make gorgeous wedding tables), are included in all of the packages we offer, not only making planning simpler for you, but also helping to avoid the massive amount of waste that can be produced by big events. Also included, our seasoned staff will handle much of your day-of setup and cleanup as well as the venue related planning and coordination. (Bar, catering , and some "extra" services such as vintage china place settings are based on an added per person rate, and some optional services such as house music management and ceremony officiation are priced reasonably as a flat rate add-on.)

We are located within easy driving distance of South Haven, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Benton Harbor. Looking to have a beach ceremony? We host beach weddings in South Haven as well as small (24 person) ceremonies on the Schooner Serenity, a tall ship out of Saugatuck. Already have an outdoor wedding planned? Put your mind at ease by having your reception in a beautiful place that can also be an alternate ceremony location in case of poor weather.
