Basswood Chalet & Guesthouse is a micro-wedding venue located in New Auburn, Wisconsin, also serving couples from around the Green Bay, Appleton, and Door County areas. This private retreat property is located on almost 10 acres of beautiful woodlands across from Lower Long Lake. The venue was built in 2006, and is owned by husband and wife team Dave and Rev. Ronnie Roll. Basswood Chalet & Guesthouse is the perfect location for small, intimate weddings, elopements, vow renewals, baptisms, and getaway trips. Enjoy nature and solitude at this rustic, yet modern location.

Basswood Chalet & Guesthouse offers privacy and modern convenience, with Old World European style. This venue is a great location for any small, intimate event or occasion. We can accommodate guest lists up to 25 indoors and 50 outdoors. Fully furnished with beautiful decor, this venue offers a beautiful setting for your special occasion or getaway. Enjoy your ceremony by the fireplace, on the balcony, or outside in the trees. The Chalet is the perfect place to celebrate your small reception afterwards. You can also enjoy comforting amenities in the guest house, such as a full kitchen and bathroom, wireless Internet, games, and more.

Basswood Chalet & Guesthouse not only offers a gorgeous, relaxing setting for your getaway event, but there are also very helpful services available, as well. Co-owner Rev. Ronnie Rill can serve as the ordained minister for your ceremony, offering friendly, personalized services and options. The venue also offers services such as photography, videography, music, audio and visual capabilities, massages, and much, much more. Our guesthouse is available as a bridal suite and honeymoon retreat as well.
