My partner and I recently got married at the Bates House and it was an incredible experience! When you book the venue for your wedding, you get it for three days. We took advantage of this and had our rehearsal dinner there on Friday night, our wedding on Saturday, and a brunch there Sunday morning. This made planning so much easier and more affordable. Another great thing about the Bates House is that not only is it beautiful but you can add as little or as much decoration as you want to embellish the venue. My partner and I loved the natural beauty of the house and grounds, so we chose to only add fresh flowers and some bistro lighting to the already breath-taking ballroom. Lise, who manages the property, is so helpful at answering questions, providing suggestions, and sharing what others have done previously. She is wonderful to work with and really helps make sure the Bates House is your perfect venue.

Bates House was recomended to me by my wedding planner (La Bella Planners) and was the perfect site for my ceremony and reception! I loved that I could have my whole wedding there including pictures and did not have to run around to different locations for everything. The park is perfect for pictures and has so many different background options, The house was perfect for our reception with 113 people. I cannot recomend this site more for your wedding day!
