Beautiful Live Music

Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour were absolutely breathtaking, in no small part due to Bay Area Strings and Brass. They were professional, talented, and a joy to work with. As someone with migraines, I loved the sounds of guitar and violin duos but knew that I could not handle violin. Bay Area Strings and Bass worked with us without a problem to perform our favorites through a less traditional guitar/cello duo.

These skilled musicians brought new life into our favorite songs, adding an almost ethereal quality to our ceremony. If you are looking for live music for your wedding or other event, look no further than Bay Area All Strings and Brass.

I booked this vendor 5 months prior to my wedding. I had a lot of email exchanges with Georgina to finalize my ceremony songs and cocktail list. In addition to paying their base cost per hour, I paid for 2 additional songs to composed and practicing time ($60 each + additional for music sheet). She didn't send me any information about the musicians until I asked a month prior to the wedding because my coordinator needed to contact them to make sure they exist. After I finalized my songs and updated the changes, I assumed everything was good and confirmed. Never good to assume. During my ceremony, they messed up. They played my bridal procession song in place of the parents and wedding party procession. I was very upset and confused. As I waited for cue for the next song, they kept on looping the same song, so I had to walk down the aisle anyways. Afterward, the musicians explained that there were too many emails back and forth and they just assumed the day of was how they were going to arrange it. What? Just ask! The musician did greet me when he arrived, but only asked where he was suppose to go. He did not mention any confusion regarding what he was suppose to play. More disturbing is Georgina never reached out to confirm with me the final version. Lastly, she did not give a clear outline to the musicians and basically forwarded our email conversations to the musicians and confused the hell out of them. Not reliable for a once in a lifetime event. Background music ok.
