Sophia Garber, the pyrographer and business owner, has a passion for rustic, nature-inspired work and creates beautiful wood-burnt art. She also specializes in live wood-burned portraits created onsite. Sophia would be delighted to create a custom piece for your engagement, wedding, or anniversary.

Be The Sun Design Co welcomes couples to reach out to her for more information. Each of her artistic creations is made by hand without lasers. Fantastic & Unique Custom Wood-Burning For Wedding Event!

We loved the live on-site wood burning from Be The Sun Design Co at our event! Sophia was fantastic and did an amazing job on our custom portrait to capture our ceremony. She set up with her own equipment and an easel in the corner of our reception and crafted a beautiful keepsake for us. Our guests really enjoyed being able to observe the process and come by and see how it took shape over the course of the party. Sophia was very personable and professional and many people commented on how cool and unique an idea it was. Our photographer also got some great shots throughout the process and of the final product set in the space. Sophia worked very well with our planner, the venue, and the other vendors and was a great part of the team. We would definitely recommend Be The Sun Design Co.

Best Creative Touch for Your Wedding

I can not recommend Sophia/Be The Sun enough! Sophia created a beautiful portrait during my wedding and provided personalized signage for the event. She wood burned our portrait throughout the reception, and got every single detail just right! Halfway through our party, I approached her workstation and thought "Wow, that's us!" because the portrait was THAT perfect! She even drew inspiration from my bouquet for additional details. The live portrait was the perfect addition to our reception!

In addition, she provided personalized signage for our couple's table, event signage, and we commissioned for her to wood burn the front cover of our guest book. Sophia is passionate, creative, professional, and an all around joy to work with!
