Katie Ogletree is a trained, certified, professional makeup artist with a passion for makeup, and helping others to feel amazing and to put their best face forward.
Her passion for makeup began in college, exploring different brands, using trial and error with formulas, and trying out basic techniques and products.
As she entered her late 20's, Katie gained confidence with her techniques, and her skills improved noticeably. At this point, people started asking her for tips, and to do their makeup for them.
During her early 30's, her skills, techniques, and makeup collection improved across the board. And with her love of makeup, its application, and the history and education of makeup as a whole, naturally ended up turning her passion into a profession.
Katie specializes in bridal makeup, natural makeup, casual makeup, glam/bold special occasion makeup, and editorial makeup.
She's also trained in male makeup application (natural makeup, concealing blemishes, dark spots, and dark circles), TV & film, headshots, and more.
Katie also loves applying makeup to more mature skin, helping individuals of all ages feel beautiful and confident.
She gets so much joy from watching someone's posture and constitution change throughout the makeup application process. Seeing someone feel stronger and more confident is absolutely magical, and the best part of the job.
