About
On WeddingWire since 2024
Based in Milwaukee, WI, Bellflower Films creates heartfelt wedding films with a handheld, personal, and emotive touch.
Hey, I'm Cat Bell, the woman behind Bellflower Films! I'm passionate about telling authentic stories and create films that center the couple saying I do. No film is alike and I don't follow a copy & paste forumla. Each film is tailor made to the couple in it, documenting not just the events of the day but how it all felt.
I like to keep things simple and offer a base package that includes up to 10 hours of filming - because why would I leave right when the party's getting started?! But because no wedding is the same, I am happy to create custom proposals from elopments to full weekends.
So what do you say, let's do this?

For nearly 10 years I’ve called Milwaukee, Wisconsin home.
I’m curious, creative, and intentional, and since I can remember, I’ve loved creating of all kinds: cooking, baking, painting, weaving, crafting... After getting my first camera in 2009 – a Nikon Coolpix – I found a new passion for documenting. It’s the way I feel I communicate best. It makes me feel free.
Documenting other’s love has been a great honor. It is inherently personal, vulnerable, and emotional. And it’s really freaking beautiful.
I bring my personal love for photography (especially 35mm film) to my filmmaking, keeping an eye out for natural compositions while embracing the imperfect. I’m inspired most by the ‘little things’, mother nature of course, and the way people gather in community to celebrate, support, and cherish one another.
