Trustworthy

Amber and Sonya became like family. They tolerated my crazy and executed my vision perfectly. Their attention to detail is great! They were very thorough and helpful when prompting me to think of things I otherwise would not have. They helped make my daughter’s wedding a perfect day. There were many wonderful comments from the other vendors and helpers on how great they were to work with.
Do yourself a favor and trust them with your event. Their work is a passion, not just a job.

Blessed Events have been amazing. They have been available when I have questions, they have many great ideas, and they clearly want what’s best

I was not sure if I needed a coordinator when planning my daughter’s wedding. However it has been the best money I have spent so far. I only wish I had found them sooner.

Amber Sizer Rainwater, CNP (certified nonprofit professional), has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, event planning, and public relations. She provides leadership and coordination for the Heart of San Antonio Heart Ball where nearly 500 people will gather to celebrate and raise funds to help support nutrition security, heart health, smoking cessation, health equity, and research.

In addition, Amber has been instrumental in planning weddings and showers, birthday and holiday parties, company events, and a wide array of fundraisers. She has an eye for detail, an obsession for organization, an outgoing personality, and unparalleled professionalism.

Amber earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication with a focus on public relations and a minor in nonprofit management in 2004 from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where she also received several awards. Outside work and planning events, Amber enjoys spending time with her husband, Dustin, and little dogs, Nugget and Lucky. She is also active in her church and loves shopping, taking long naps, country dancing, and horseback riding.

Sonya is passionate about seeing people happy so is using her planning and designing skills for all things weddings, showers, quinceaneras, and more events. She is staying very busy while taking a year off from teaching to see where the Lord leads her. She does I love and miss teaching and seeing the kids every day, but has wanted to coordinate events for a long time.

Sonya and Mark have been happily married for 19 years and are the parents to 5 almost-grown kiddos forming a blended family. Mark is the father to the oldest, Christopher, who is 27. Mark adopted Triston, now age 26, and Katie, now age 23, in 2006. Mark and Sonya had Ethan and Logan together, who are now 19 and 17 years old. They also have two grandsons, Kenton, age 7, and Deklan, age 3, that are little adventurers and joys of their lives.

Sonya graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Education with a certification in teaching in May 2009. As a teacher and certified Early Childhood (EC) thru 8th-grade generalist, also certified in EC-12 Special Education and ESL (English as a Second Language), she taught pre-k at Alkek Elementary in Bandera, Texas for 12 years.

Sonya's favorite color is purple, loves romance movies and crime tv, traveling, crafting, reading, and spending quality time with her family and girlfriends when she is not working on events or teaching that is!
