bloom. is a floral design company business located in Brevard, North Carolina where the mayor owns the hardware store and white squirrels climb the trees. We strive to create distinctive yet elegant floral designs using the highest quality imported or locally grown flowers. As a mother/daughter team we approach floral design from two complimentary places allowing us to bring innovation, tradition, and elegance to all that we do.

From the smallest get-together to the grandest wedding fiesta. We also delivery special occasion arrangements in the local area. We would love to inject some memorability into your event. Who am i?

I am Jen Christian, wife of Matt Christian and mother to MaryGrace and Ella. My Great Grandfather came to Brevard from Ohio in 1901 to design summer camps. In 1915 he was one of the first residents to build a home in downtown Brevard. That home still stands and is now listed on the National Historic Register. Today my historic ties to this place continue as my mother and I show up for work at the historic garage my Great Grandfather built for himself and my family. I have a B.A in Environmental Studies and was halfway through my Master's in Education when the flower bug bit me. My life experiences as a mother, a teacher, an outdoorsman, a hiker, an ecologist, an evniromentalist, a writer, a singer, a friend, a wife, and a daughter have provided me with the deep understanding that each choice we make, each creation we put into the world, every moment in our lives.... they are be monumental.

It is our goal to be part of making your memories beautifully monumental ones.
