For the ceremony, the cello and piano duo created the most enchanting atmosphere. Their beautiful melodies set the perfect tone as I walked down the aisle, and many guests remarked on how emotional and lovely the music was. They also had an incredible selection of songs to choose from which made the ceremony even more personal.
During cocktail hour, the jazz trio elevated the mood even further. Their smooth tunes created a relaxed, classy vibe that everyone enjoyed while mingling and celebrating. It was the perfect backdrop for our guests to savor the moment and unwind before the festivities began.
Then came the reception, and wow—this 8-piece band brought the house down! They were energetic, engaging, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Their versatility in playing everything from classic hits to current favorites ensured that there was something for everyone. The crowd was buzzing, and we loved seeing our friends and family dancing and having the time of their lives.
From start to finish, this band exceeded our expectations and made our wedding a truly magical experience. Jessica was available for many calls to ensure that the day was perfectly tailored to our needs and I was really impressed with how we were really able to customize everything! Their planning page made everything so seamless and we had a great call with Jessica again the week of the wedding to make sure everything would go off without a hitch. We had high expectations for BWK and we were BLOWN AWAY by how amazing they were on our wedding day! We worked with Molly as our producer who was extremely responsive and on top of everything. BWK has a planning portal that we used throughout the process which kept everything extremely organized. They were extremely familiar with our venue which was super helpful as they were able to provide helpful recommendations on how to make the evening flow best music-wise.

We had a six-piece band which was a great size for our venue, with them performing at the cocktail hour and at the reception. They had amazing stage presence the whole time and really got everyone up and dancing. We were a bit worried that they play the same setlist for every wedding, but they really did curate to our music likes/dislikes (including the DJ portion). Our guests absolutely RAVED about them, and many guests said they hadn't danced like that in years!

We debated hiring a band vs DJ and we can truly say hiring Bluewater Kings was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Our 7 piece band blew us and all of our guests away - we couldn’t tear ourselves away from the dance floor! They read the crowd perfectly and kept the energy up the whole night. They are so talented and have a really wide range! The planning process was also great with them - Molly was very communicative and helped talk me through some of the questions and concerns I had with a band playing at our venue. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is even considering a band!! They truly made our night so memorable.
