Brimming with talent and charisma, our song list is limitless and spans from today's hits to traditional classics- and we play continuous music throughout your entire wedding. We offer unparalleled services to customize your wedding- from your ceremony and cocktail hour to your wedding reception. We will learn songs specifically for your wedding, making your special dances extraordinary! With our full production of lighting and sound, your wedding will be nothing short of an exclusive concert.
Band leader & front man, Brian Kirk has been engaging audiences for over 2 decades! Brian will act as your Master of Ceremonies throughout your entire wedding, creating smooth transitions and hand picking the songs that get and keep your guests dancing all night long! BK&J have enlisted an all star cast of musicians that play with experience, boldness, accuracy and pure love of the art form. Along with Brian are the incredible vocals of Steve Johnson, David Pershan and Kristin Cochran, backed by thick vocal harmonies and multiple instrumentation including a 3-piece horn section. BK&J have the ability to play an extremely diverse repertoire of songs complete with great groove and accomplished solos, from rock, funk, pop, hip hop/rap, country, swing, jazz, oldies, or modern songs. Each option gives you the ability to choose from traditional ceremony music (“Wedding March” or “Canon In D”) to contemporary music (“Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” “I’m Yours,” or “Beautiful Day”)- or a mix of both! Set the mood with an endless amount of song possibilities. The music was absolutely phenomenal. The band perfectly blended our personal song requests with crowd favorites, seamlessly transitioning from one hit to another. The energy they brought to the stage was contagious—seriously, no one sat down the entire time! Our guests, ranging from grandparents to college friends, were all on the dance floor, completely captivated by the band's talent and infectious energy.
Brian knows how to read the room beautifully, knowing exactly when to crank up the energy or dial it back for a special moment. They interacted with every single guest, coming into the dancefloor with their sax, passing the mic to me and my husband, and even giving us the guitar at one point.
Working with Elizabeth ahead of time was also an absolute breeze. They were incredibly professional, flexible, and responsive to all of our requests. From the first email to the final song, they made the entire process so smooth. They took the time to understand our preferences and crafted a setlist that reflected our taste while also considering our guests' enjoyment. It was such a relief to know we were in great hands.
