Brickworks was amazing! We were looking for somewhere in town for the reception so that everyone was close to their hotels. We found Brickworks and were shocked at how affordable and flexible they were. Other than decorations, the only thing we needed to rent was linens; they had tables, chairs, and all the tableware you need. They were super helpful about figuring out time for us to set up and break down and genuinely just wanted to make sure we were happy and relaxed. None of the normal BS that most wedding venues make you go through. I can't recommend it enough.

Planning our wedding reception at Brickworks was so easy. The space was beautiful, and was a lot of fun to decorate as our own. Our wedding day was fairly chilly so people didn't really utilize the outdoor space, so I highly recommend springing for a larger tent, lighting and outdoor tables to create more room for a party. (It was cozy but doable for our 100-guest event with round tables, which we were aware of beforehand.) We loved that Brickworks already had a lot of tables, chairs and dishes in their inventory, which is really helpful when you're trying to coordinate rentals on an island with limited resources and multiple events the same weekend. It's also great to be walking distance from Friday Harbor hotels for guests who want to celebrate big and not worry about driving back. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't rethink our choice of Brickworks for a second. Highly recommended!

My husband and I held our early summer wedding reception at Brickworks. The venue was very versatile - we wanted to ensure there was enough space for stand-up mingling during cocktails and for dancing later on, and we were able to set up a separate dining tent (different supplier, costs extra!) straight off the double doors into the backyard. Brickworks looks lovely when it is all decorated, though it is a big space and you need a lot of stuff (furniture, accessories, linens) to create the look you're going for. I think our caterer was very happy with the kitchen facilities. The Brickworks staff members were consistently polite and friendly. We appreciated the option of paying for help with clean-up the morning after! Usage procedures were fairly straightforward and there were good checklists. Perhaps the only downside is that the dinner- and silverware offered as part of the rental package isn't very high-quality so if you want your tables to look elegant you have to bring in your own somehow. Overall, a great choice - thank you, Brickworks!
