Situated in Germantown, Wisconsin, BuBs Irish Pub has all the charm of an authentic Irish bar and has hosted hundreds of weddings throughout its history. Originally constructed in the 1890s, the building was once a saloon and dance hall. Over the years it has had many iterations, and was bought by the current owner, Scott Pecor, in 1997. Scott spent much of the 1990s taking his children to Irish Dance festivals and competitions, where he became close with other dads of dancers. The idea of starting an Irish pub came from this group of fathers, who called themselves the BuBs. The restaurant brings the atmosphere, hospitality, and tastes of Ireland to Wisconsin with vintage accents, friendly service, and lots of Guinness.

Facilities and Capacity
The spacious BuBs Irish Pub can hold as many as 550 guests in its multi-room interior. The restaurant consists of several banquet halls that can be customized for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The most intimate of these is the SNUG, a quaint semi-private dining room that has booths and church pews and seats 50 people. The Smithwick’s Bar can accommodate 100 guests and is equipped with four pool tables, large TVs, sound systems, and string lights. The Main Stage Area works well for gatherings of up to 500 and has a stage where a band or DJ can perform. Meanwhile, the Irish Dance Hall can host 200 and features picture windows, a private bar, a stage and dance floor, and Celtic décor.

Services Offered
BuBs Irish Pub offers four wedding packages that accommodate between 60 and 300 guests for rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. All of these come with six hours of DJing, bartenders, an event coordinator, half barrels of beer, a champagne toast, linens and napkins, and cake cutting. In addition, the venue provides a number of add-ons that you can rent. These include live music and audio equipment, pre-dinner appetizers, an open bar, a wedding arbor and decorations, and late night snacks. The team can also arrange for a shuttle service for you and your loved ones to get back to your hotels after an unforgettable evening.
