Each wedding cake is a labor of love designed to meet your personal taste and style. Our team at Butter dedicates a lot of time and focus into designing and decorating our wedding cakes and dessert bars for a beautifully stunning and delicious display that will delight your guests!
Weddings require extra care and attention and to ensure that quality doesn't suffer, we book a limited number of weddings weekly. We recommend securing your date on our calendar four to eight months in advance. Although we do our best to accommodate last minute orders, once our week is booked we do not take on additional wedding cakes to ensure you are getting the highest quality cake and design on your special day.
To start the design process, we recommend contacting us to talk about your style and general aesthetic. This helps us come up with fresh, unique design ideas in preparation for our consultation/tasting. As soon as you are ready, you can schedule a tasting or give us a call and we'll happily schedule you over the phone. As your cake designer, we will work closely with you from start to finish to ensure that you are getting the cake of your dreams!

I did several cake tasting but loved Butter Cake Shoppe cakes the best!
Wedding cake to die for!
We ended up with a gorgeous three tiered ‘Lambeth’ style cake with lemon and strawberry-pistachio layers, plus two sheet cakes in the back for extra servings. Plus, Butter Cake Shoppe provided the cutest frozen anniversary cake so the top tier didn’t have to be saved! I’m not exaggerating when I say that mostly every guest at our wedding asked where the cake was from or said it was the best cake they’d ever had.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, Butter Cake Shoppe also put together a fishing themed groom’s cake for my rehearsal dinner as a surprise for my fiance. He absolutely loved it and all of his fishing friends got a kick out of how realistic it was, and that we used red velvet for the ‘insides’ of the fish. It was so perfect and such a special way to kick off the wedding weekend!
