The Cabrillo Pavilion is a historic, city-owned wedding venue situated on the beach in Santa Barbara, California. The building boasts a luxe art deco-inspired design and is the ideal place for those looking to exchange their vows on the sand before hosting an indoor reception.

Facilities and Capacity

The Cabrillo Pavilion includes three distinct event spaces for you and your guests to enjoy: the lounge, the main room, and the two outdoor terraces. Guests can enter through the lounge, featuring a functional fireplace and conversational seating. This is the perfect space to host a cocktail reception following your beach ceremony. From the lounge, guests are led into the main room, characterized by its vaulted ceilings, striking archways, and panoramic ocean views. The main room can accommodate up to 200 guests for a seated dinner. Along either side of the main room are two outdoor terraces perched above the beach, providing the perfect place to watch a Santa Barbara sunset. In addition to the event spaces, the venue also includes a full prep kitchen, scullery, dedicated restrooms for guests, and two additional small rooms that can be used for the day's preparations as needed.

Services Offered

Couples hosting their wedding at the Cabrillo Pavilion are welcome to use the venue's event furniture, including round tables, banquet tables, cocktail tables, mobile bar, and dance floor. Guests are also welcome to use the venue's audio-visual equipment, including a large projection screen, mobile projector, and wireless microphones. Couples are not limited to a set vendor list and can work with the vendors of their choosing to create their special day.

The Cabrillo Pavilion is located on the sands of East Beach in Santa Barbara - one of the few venues in town located directly on the beach. As a city-owned and -operated venue, all events hosted here help to fund programs and services that support the Santa Barbara community.
