About
On WeddingWire since 2024
Hi there - my name is Q! I'm so glad you've stopped by!
My journey into this world starts with a younger version of myself whose imagination was too big to contain. I wrote stories and drew pictures about dragons, friendships, exploring. As I aged, my writing shifted from an innocent imagination to figuring out how to cope with lessons on “growing up.” A gracious space to let my thoughts and feelings roam free, without judgement.
At heart, I am a storyteller of many forms. I’m a writer, an editor, and now - a photographer. I’m lucky with how many different mediums I’ve gotten to experience, figuring out different ways to express and capture the world around me.
Since the pandemic, I was forced to take a step back. Moved back to Arkansas from New York, my energy and focus shifted. Still inspired by the little things, crafting stories became difficult to form. I was tired of my own existence and trying to make something of it. I sat with this feeling for awhile, began to realize that I needed to slow down and take a breathe.
I was tired of using my negative experiences to fuel my work.
Being back in this little landlock state, I was introduced to folks whose stories were so unique, authentic, weird, and just full of genuine happiness. Some of our memories overlapped when I married one of these unique people. We forced everyone into one place where reminisced on how we all got to this point in our lives. It was a beautiful experience.
Moments like these are what really inspired me to pick up a camera.
It’s important for me to document these moments. Moments that live forever as time passes by in a blink. Watching my nieces and nephews grow up, to watching my chosen family turn the page on a new chapter, to meeting so many unique people.
I’ve learned that storytelling goes deeper than an imagination or a moment, so much deeper. Each in-between moment so timeless, so unique. It’s the life-lessons that age into nostalgic memories. It’s the teary-eyes when that “see you later” is the very last one. Capturing photos is more than documenting, it’s a way to give moments immortality! A simple kiss on your wedding day turns into a “my parents taught me how to love passionately and with patience.”
If you’ve made it this far, share me what memories are crossing your mind! I want to help curate those keepsakes AND the in-betweens.

As a queer photographer, fostering inclusivity is not just a priority but a cornerstone of my practice. I understand firsthand the importance of representation and creating spaces where all identities are celebrated and respected. Through my lens, I aim to capture the beauty and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community and beyond, ensuring that every individual feels seen, heard, and valued. Inclusivity isn't an afterthought—it's at the forefront of my work, driving me to create images that reflect the richness of human experience and challenge societal norms. By embracing diversity in all its forms, I strive to create a world where everyone feels empowered to be their authentic selves.
If this is something that you do not support, we will not be a good match. I appreciate your time, regardless.
