Carissa is a published makeup artist with over 12 years industry experience. She began her journey at MUD where she became certified both as a special fx and beauty makeup artist. She went on to work for noted companies such as Cinema Secrets and MAC - where she worked as a MAC certified artist for six years. She then went on to get a degree in Beauty Industry Merchandise Marketing from FIDM with hopes of one day developing a color cosmetic line of her own. After many years of working on various projects in film, print, and runway, she decided to run with the idea of running her own beauty business as a well rounded esthetician. Liscenced by the State Board of California, she is an Esthetician that specializes in speed waxing, brow shaping, lash extensions, and ofcoarse - makeup. Beauty is her biggest passion and she will continue educating and challenging herself as this industry advances. She has a keen eye for color and prides herself in her creative ability to enhance what is naturally beautiful without it looking like makeup and with incredible "staying power." She puts her heart and soul into this business and treats every client like they are her first. Beauty is not only her job - but her favorite hobby and her biggest passion.
