I booked Carl pretty early on in the planning process, but he stayed in communication the entire time, responding very quickly every time I had a question about the ceremony. We ended up writing our own ceremony, but used his templates as a guide. Carl practiced with us about half an hour before the ceremony began, which made us feel more confident speaking in front of our guests. We also forgot to bring the stamped marriage license with us and were so embarrassed that we had forgotten something so important back at the hotel! But Carl came to our rescue and met us the next day to sign the license and make everything official.
