Cascades at Parks Mill is an event and wedding venue located in Abingdon, Virginia. This beautiful natural and rustic venue situated on the creek, offers a tranquil rural setting for folks to make timeless memories surrounded by friends and family. The property was built around 1790 and once sat on over 600 acres. The rustic lodge, antique mill with water wheel, multipe grassy lawns, rushing waterfall, cascading creek, verdant green scenery, all create a breathtaking backdrop for celebrations of love. Facilities and Capacity
CASCADES AT PARKS MILL offers serene outdoor spots to exchange vows and hold receptions, parties, dances and other events up to 200 people.
*Up to 4 hours of your choice in which to prepare, decorate and rehearse the night before. (For larger groups)
*Up to 10 hours of your choice in which to celebrate your wedding or event the day of. (For larger groups)
*TABLES AND CHAIRS, for up to 120 guests with chairs for over 200 guests for self set up and return.
*PARKING shuttle assist from lot across the lane, passenger and vendor drop off.
*2 or more hosts to manage your entire event depending on size of your party.
*EXTERIOR SPACES make for incredible photos and include multiple lawns, 2 ceremony sites one at the waterfall and the other overlooking the creek with lawn, exterior of antique mill, fire pit lounge area overlooking the creek with 3 live fire bowls, one firepit lounge at the mill, dancing under the moon and party lights in front of the mill, lower lawn for great photos of waterwheel. A 24'x40' pavillion keeps guests warm, dry, cool and shady for larger parties.
*INTERIOR SPACES include our party lodge with wrap around covered decks, a long bar and dining and serving for about 70 people inside and another 70 outside. A lovely brides room, a grooms room inside the historic mill, and a kitchen for your catering.
*INCLUDES your choice of arbors.

Our special day couldn't have turned out more perfect without the hard work you all put into this beautiful venue. We would like to thank you again for all the help we enquired about booking our wedding , until it was time to say "I do"! Nothing was ever too much to ask and our questions were answered within the hour. We couldn't have asked for a more elegant venue and such an amazing day. Each amenity is created so beautifully for any audience. Cascades exceeded all our expectations of how the venue looked the day of our wedding, and how the day came together so peacefully.
