I took my wedding dress to Cassandra for alterations, and I couldn't have been happier! Due to the dress sizing, my dress had to be taken in a decent amount on the top. The dress had a couple layers of netting over a satin underlay, so there were quite a few layers that she had to work with to make everything lay correctly. Over the course of four fittings, my dress was taken in, hemmed, a beautiful bustle was added, my belt was attached, a layer of crinoline removed, and even my bra and petticoat adjusted to fit correctly under the dress! Cassandra was so calm and easygoing, and was very straightforward about the cost estimate up front and how some of the additional adjustments (like taking in my bra) would affect the estimate as we moved on in the process. Cassandra is very warm and calming to be around, and it was always a pleasure to visit her studio. I would definitely recommend her services for any alterations!

I put much trust in Cassandra's services. They altered my gown as well as all my bridesmaids and both mothers. I was appalled in the end however. My now sister in-law had to have her dress altered 4 times. She had no weight loss or gain...they just weren't getting it right, yet they blamed it on weight (she was a whole size 4). My own sister only needed a hem. So they hemmed her skirt, but not the attached crinoline underneath. She made us pay extra to get the ATTACHED crinoline underneath hemmed. Ridiculous huh? Then to top it off, I get there to pick up my dress the day before my wedding (everything had already been paid...or so I thought) It wasn't ready!!!!! There were still pins in it!!! I had to wait while a seamstress quickly finished sewing. Then she asks me to pay extra for fixing beads on my veil. I had already dropped close to $400 on alterations alone for my dress and then she wants $50 for sewing up some loose beads on my veil. When I had come in to do my last fitting she said "I see some loose beads on there. I'll fix those up for you" So that made me think she was doing it complimentary, considering she'd being raking me for as much cash as she could. She asks me for the $50, when I tell her I don't have it, that I thought my bill was paid, she then told me that I could walk to the ATM in the gas station next door if I needed to! The nerve! I then told her off and stormed out leaving my mom (I'm so so so sorry mom) to pick up the pieces. It was my one Bridezilla moment. Come to find out that a seamstress that lives next door to my grandmother would have done all of my alterations for about $150...to bad I didn't meet here until after the fact. Cassandra is WAY overpriced and not worth it.
