Casual Bowtie was INCREDIBLE! From start to finish, these guys were awesome (and super nice). Rob was so amazing to work with, from when we first started reaching out to wedding bands all the way through the wedding day. We had our wedding this past August and Casual Bowtie made the party what it was. The guys learned 4 new songs for us (including playing for the entirety of the wedding ceremony). When Casual Bowtie says they get everyone up and dancing - they really mean it! We had about 150 people at our wedding and it really felt like a majority of them were up the WHOLE time. There were a couple of musical surprises from me (the groom) and the bride's brother and Casual Bowtie was totally game to make those moments happen. One thing that really shows the character of Casual Bowtie is they had a break towards the end of the reception but, instead, they were learning a special cultural dance with the rest of the wedding guests. They looked like they were having a blast! Honestly, from the moment you meet Casual Bowtie, you can just tell that they love what they do. We never saw the band perform for an audience until the day of our wedding, but felt comfortable with the band's assurances that they knew what they were doing. Boy, were they right! Thank you Casual Bowtie! One other note, we had a TON of feedback saying how great the band at our wedding was (if you're considering them over a DJ, just take the leap). I wish this website wasn't so nice to vendors so that my 5 star review could really show how much they shined.

Casual Bowtie is absolutely Seattle's best wedding band. It may be the best wedding band on the planet. We had heard them play at a friend's wedding. They had so much style and panache! And they sounded incredible. We danced for hours. We knew they were the band for us. From our initial meeting, (where Rob not only helped us plan out a song list but the order/structure of the entire event!), to emails about arrival, set-up for the day, Casual Bowtie impressed us with their clarity, their expertise and their amazing willingness to make the day and the dancing exactly what we wanted. The band has an amazing sound, and they know how to pace the evening and work a room. Many of our guests came up to us several weeks afterwards to gush about what an incredible dance party we had. At the end of the night, when clean-up rolled around, they went from Wedding Band Superstars to Wedding Band Gods in my eyes. We ended up being a little pressed for time and short on hands to help clean up the venue (a Seattle Parks building). Casual Bowtie noticed, and after they had cleared all their gear, they came back and helped up break down tables and sweep. It was totally awesome, unexpected and so incredibly generous of them. But, that's who they are. Awesome, unexpected, generous. Book them! Book them for everything! You will be so happy that you did.

It's not even a question - the Casual Bowties are the absolute best choice if you're looking for a wedding band. Their enthusiasm is infectious, their willingness to go the extra mile is incredible and they aren't kidding when they say they get *everyone* on the dance floor. They were by far one of the very best decisions we made for our overall wedding. We felt so lucky to have them perform at our wedding!
