Every time guests debriefed with us about their time at our wedding, consistently we heard people talk about how the music was really great at the wedding! People of all ages were enticed to hit the dance floor! Guests were told to circle around us for our first dance— this way, when it was done, they’d already be on the dance floor to join into the dance party! DJ Choko was very talented at crafting a playlist to extrapolate on our music taste, and at the reception, he was good at reading the vibe of the space and thinking on his feet to keep the energy alive! Plus he led the Horrah so well and kept it going on and on!

Although Celebrations is a big company, the first meeting is always with the owner of the company, Geoffrey. The last meeting is with the actual DJ assigned to your wedding so you can meet them beforehand. To our surprise, the owner Geoffrey was the DJ picked for our wedding! He was super thorough to ensure he had the correct versions of our wedding songs beforehand. On the wedding day, he showed up about two hours earlier than planned to ensure everything was in order as it was on the fence whether our outside ceremony would have to move inside. We had a very long aisle and he ensured none of the ceremony songs ran out or ended early. He was an AMAZING DJ but he was so much more than a DJ! He always ensured we were not stressed and just enjoying our day. He helped the father of the groom out with audio of the groom as a kid for his speech. He even pulled out the chair for me (the bride) at dinner! He was so personable with everyone, including the guests. He had a FULL dance floor ALL night, up to the very last song of the night. He played our "must plays" spread out well throughout the reception.

One of the top priorities in our wedding was having good music, so when we were searching for a DJ, we were being very selective. Geoffrey was great during the whole meeting process, really understood what we were looking for so we personally selected him to handle our wedding and boy, we did not regret it one bit! My husband and I, along with the majority of our close friends, are very much into the EDM/DJ scene so we can be pretty critical but all of us were blown away at his ability to keep the energy high, his song selection, and his amazing transitions! When we told him we kinda want it to feel like a rave, he really understood the assignment haha We actually even had a couple of guests who are EDM DJs in NYC and they were highly impressed! Our dance floor was never empty and our guests went home raving that we had the best wedding DJ and we 100% agree with them.

If you want a high energy, never empty dance floor, Geoffrey is your man!
