Chez Nous is private and exclusive. A glamorous barn and mansion wedding venue, situated in the quaint town of Wilmington, Vermont. We are only 1 hour from the closest airport in Albany, NY and just 2 and a half hours from Boston, MA. This beautiful property, built in 1896, has been restored to its former glory, with careful attention to detail, John and Cheryl Mincarelli took the time to breathe new life into this historic property in order to be able to host one-of-a-kind celebrations. Today, the site features many original architectural details with stunning interior design as well as essential amenities for modern weddings. Giving you the freedom to create the wedding of your dreams!

Facilities and Capacity

Chez nous has expansive grounds and several beautiful areas for your ceremony if you choose to be married on the property. You and your partner can exchange vows in front of the beautiful, glamorous barn or a number of other picture perfect spots on our private 21 acres. Host a cocktail hour on the stone patio with a wood burning fireplace, situated just a few yards from the barn, this rustic space is great for casual outdoor celebrations. A night of delicious cuisine, dancing and celebration can then take place inside the barn. Complete with tall ceilings, wooden beams, chandeliers, and a private loft space, this event space can host receptions of 150-180 people. The barn can be configured in several ways and has ample room for seated guests, a dance floor, and live entertainment.

Ahead of your wedding day at Chez Nous, you and your loved ones can host your rehearsal dinner in the mansion. Complete with a spacious kitchen, living quarters, a bar and a stunning wrap-around porch that can easily seat up to 40 guests.

Accommodation

The mansion at Chez Nous can accommodate 12 overnight guests with it's six luxurious bedrooms. The Heather Suite is the largest of all of the bedrooms and is perfect for the newlywed couple. This suite features a spa-like bathroom, a Victorian mantel and gas fireplace, an extremely comfy, king-size bed with iron scroll work bed frame, surrounded with sheer curtains, a sitting area, and more. Each of the other spacious bedrooms are uniquely designed and will assure your comfort for a relaxing stay and a great night’s sleep.

Services Offered

Upon booking your wedding at this venue, you are welcome to "set the stage" in order to bring your vision to life. You can choose the site on the extensive grounds for your ceremony, plan for your rehearsal dinner. You are also welcome to work with a plethora of outside vendors so that you can choose the catering and type of food, including Food Trucks and other vendors that will suit your style and preference. The venue offers a range of items to help bring your chosen event spaces to life. This includes chairs, tables, centerpieces, drapery, furniture, lighting, altars, and much more.
