If you want an unforgettable wedding, hire Jay Lavey as your DJ. When you talk to him prior to your event you will immediately notice the excitement in his voice to host your event, he genuinely loves what he does and it shows on the dancefloor. The only thing I wanted out of my wedding was to have a packed dancefloor all night and for all the guest to enjoy themselves and that is exactly what he did. I have been to weddings where the DJ has a pre determined playlist and they do not change it up if things aren’t going well, and those weddings always stink. This is not Jay, he reads the room and plays music based on the mood. The dancefloor was full the entire night and people were having the time of their lives. So many friends and relatives came up to me after asking where I found the DJ because it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to, and they’ve never seen a dancefloor that full for an entire wedding. I planned my wedding in the middle of covid when so much was still unknown. Luckily, I had amazing vendors which made the planning so much less stressful. I had no concerns when it came to Jay. I knew he would have everything handled, the music selections were awesome, he was great about playing everyone’s requests, and he even helped me plan a special surprise with my first dance with my dad. Jay is absolutely amazing!

I decided to book Jay for my October 2021 wedding after seeing him DJ a friends a couple years back. He’s so good at reading the crowd and keeping the party going, we were on the dance floor all night! He’s also a great communicator and tended to our requests without hesitation.
