ClassyFunkyBride is an online store that rents bridal veils and accessories at a fraction of the retail price. We offer rentals at up to 80% of the retail price. We design and make our veils in-house in the U.S.A. which allows us keep the price affordable.

We believe that every bride deserves to look her best on her wedding day regardless of the budget. By renting you are supporting and contributing towards the shared economy which is largely absent in the bridal industry. Renting the piece that you can only wear once allows to distribute the cost of the item among many brides which in turn makes it affordable for everyone.

Our story:

Every idea starts with a problem. Ours was: bridal veils and accessories are too expensive.

After I purchased my wedding gown, I immediately started looking for my dream veil and accessories to add a unique touch and let my personality shine through all that tulle!

I was very surprised to find out how expensive everything was! Having spent a considerable amount on my wedding gown, I simply refused to pay an outrageous amount for a veil and a bridal sash. How could I justify paying $650 for a bridal sash and another $400 for veil that I was only going to wear for just a few hours. What was I to do with all these accessories after the wedding? I would much rather put this amount toward my honeymoon or help with the overall wedding expenses...or contribute to the savings for the down-payment for our future home.

Out of frustration, I decided to make my own veil and a flower crown together with my mom in my apartment. I love knitting and my mom is very good at sewing so making the veil ourselves was a natural decision. After many trips to the fabric store, sleepless nights of cutting and sewing tulle and after many trials and errors, we were able to make our masterpiece!

While going through the entire process, I thought that there must be other brides who feel the exact same way. Mom and I made a few more veils and hair accessories, snapped pictures of our creations, built a website and listed all of the items for the brides to rent. I truly believe that every bride deserves to feel beautiful regardless of her budget. By offering the rental option only, the cost of the accessory is spread across many brides and we all get to look the way we want on our wedding day!
