EXPERIENCE A SPACE TIED TO HISTORY, BUILT WITH THE LOVE OF A CONGREGATION, AND JOIN THE CELEBRATIONS THAT TIE THIS BEAUTIFUL BUILDING TOGETHER FROM THE PAST, TO YOUR FUTURE.
The Cliff House by Boxwood was originally constructed In 1936 by Reverend Virgil Hunton and volunteers from his congregation. Since opening, this building has hosted hundreds of celebrations under the leadership of Davis Street Baptist Church, Tyler Heights Baptist Church, and
Iglesia del Senor.
In 2017 Boxwood Hospitality began what would become an eighteen month loving restoration of the space, while honoring the essence and spirit of the original construction. The Cliff House was finished in 2018, and immediately gave the Bishop Arts District an incredible venue binding celebrations from the past to present.
Services Offered:
Boxwood Hospitality's commitment to service and southern hospitality ensures that your friends, family and most importantly YOU will have an incredible experience. While we provide tables, chairs, linens, etc., we also provide a Day of Coordinator to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.
Boxwood Catering operates in conjunction with Cliff House, providing you and your guests exceptional service and exquisite cuisine. We are a BYOB venue and Boxwood Catering will provide any ancillaries needed for service as well as TABC-licensed bartenders.

Loved the Cliff House!
Our wedding day went off without a hitch. They even coordinated the details with the other vendors we chose so there were no surprises. Everyone had a great time and I could be relaxed knowing they were making sure it all went according to plan.
Cliff House is a beautiful venue that made a great backdrop for my flowers and greenery. It was the perfect size for our wedding. We chose the buffet dinner with passed hors d'oeuvres. The food was great and we enjoyed sampling the different menus at the Boxwood Supper Club events. The location in Bishop Arts is really cool, too.
Overall, I would definitely recommend it!
