Comus Farm is a charming and serene wedding venue located in Dickerson, Maryland. Steeped in history, this farm has been rejuvenated to host modern celebrations filled with stunning backdrops and majestic settings. A family-run farm, these hosts work hard to provide a welcoming environment to every couple that celebrates their love on these relaxing and secluded grounds. Originally built in 1921, the charming, traditional farmhouse is still intact, adding a historic and rustic feel to your special celebration.
Facilities and Capacity
Comus Farm welcomes couples to invite up to 100 guests to this setting for their long-awaited celebration. A range of event spaces on the grounds offers you the freedom to choose the best-suited location for your ceremony, reception, or other celebration. The original farmhouse can be an ideal setting for you and your loved ones to get ready for the big day. Offering seven bedrooms and a range of relaxing spaces, you are welcome to enjoy its serene and rustic atmosphere. Outside, couples can choose from a long list of ceremony spaces. From the rolling meadows to the enchanting pine forest, there is plenty of opportunity for customization and personal touches. Once you’ve shared your vows, you and your loved ones can retire to the rose garden, enjoying a day filled with joy surrounded by nature. An extra-large gazebo can also be provided as a sheltered space for you and your guests. This venue offers a range of furniture and tableware as an added convenience for you and your guests.

A beautiful and amazing venue
Comus farms and event coordinator Lauren, we’re beyond amazing.
The venue: the farm is incredible and has everything you could hope for. And when they don’t have something Lauren gets it! The scenery is beautiful and varied. The barn is comfortable, easy, and elegant and we never had to worry about weather: the rain plan was just as beautiful as the fine weather plan. Having the farm house to get ready is incredible! It’s a long day and we used every perfectly outfitted room and the fabulous welcome basket treats. Having a kitchen was a game changer and as the wedding party got bigger over the course of the day lots of living spaces made it easy and fun.
The staff: Lauren and her people (including her husband) are amazing. We didn’t have enough menus which we discovered as tables were being set: magically another 50 appeared. She has experience, wisdom, calm, and style—all of which we benefited from. Last minute changes, she’s got it. Things you didn’t think of, she has. She coordinated with vendors and let us drop off a truckload of “stuff” at our convenience.

They made everything so easy and despite the rain, everything was just beautiful and came off without a hitch. We were able to set up under their beautiful pavilion and gazebo.

Lauren was born and raised in Maryland and appreciates the charm of the area and all of its seasons. Iago is a native of Brazil and enjoys the farm life.
They invite families and friends from near and far to visit the farm and enjoy the natural beauties and peaceful escape that is their little slice of heaven.
