About
Located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Country Barn is an event space for couples searching for an elegant barn wedding venue. After hosting the first wedding in 2005, owner Farmer Jim began the renovation process to restore both large barns while keeping its historic elements intact. Elegant yet rustic, the 80-acre working farm offers three renovated barn venues and outdoor ceremony sites throughout the property. With their family-oriented environment, they hope to fulfill a couple’s dreams of a beautiful country wedding while showcasing their historic farm property.
Facilities and Capacity
A cobblestone walk leads to the historic 1866 Country Barn Stable built of brick and stone. Inside, exposed wooden beams, stone walls, and hardwood floors provide a beautiful backdrop for up to 300 guests. On the upper floor of the barn is the Country Barn Loft, similarly decorated to match the lower banquet area, but capable of seating 400 guests. The second barn, the Manor View Barn, provides both the upper and lower portions of the barn to couples when booking this event space. Holding up to 300 guests, this barn is often used in combination with an outdoor ceremony on the landscaped grounds. Connected to the Country Barn Stable is the Courtyard, an open, stone-paved area that may be used for a social area for cocktail or hors d’oeuvres hour. Another outdoor space is the lawn of the Red Brick Farmhouse, which features the historic red brick walkway and farmhouse as the backdrop. Other event spaces are available outside on the Manor View Grounds, such as in front of the inn, the pergola on the lawn, or the side lawn.
