The venue is absolutely beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married. I wanted a place to have both an outdoor wedding and reception. I also wanted to have a decent rain-alternative site for the wedding - and Country Club of the North had both. It was slightly more expensive than some of the other venues at which we looked .... and I believe we could have rented some of the items (chairs, lanterns, etc) for a better price (you have to rent items through the club). But in all honesty, it was a small price to pay and having our wedding there was completely worth it.

The food was decent - no complaints.

My main criticisms come from communication issues with the event coordinator. For some reason or another, I never received any of the emails she stated she sent. And she was not receiving my phone messages I left with members of the club. This, obviously, caused significant stress the week or two before the wedding.

However, miscommunication or not, the wedding was amazing and I had a great time. The day of the wedding, the coordinator did make sure everything ran according to schedule. She also made sure I was taken care of in the hours before the wedding. She also kept the wedding itself running on a decent time schedule. The wedding was beautiful and with the event coordinator's help, I had one of the best days of my life.
