Where do I even begin!?! Krista is beyond amazing. She was hands down the best decision we made leading up to our big day.

My fiance and I were hesitant about hiring a day-of wedding coordinator, but it will now be my #1 advice to brides, and if you are in the DC area, Krista is your girl. Krista jumped in about a month before the wedding day, and instantly took charge and executed on our vision for the day. She managed all the vendors, wedding party, family, rehearsal, venue, and small little outstanding tasks leading up to the day.

You know your wedding planner is good when the following two things occur:
1) A LOT of stuff went wrong at your wedding and you had absolutely NO idea about it
2) You were sad to say goodbye to your planner at the end of the night and are now looking for any excuse to have another party so you can work with her again :)

When I first started planning a wedding on a budget, I have to admit that I was on the fence about spending money on a day-of coordinator. However, after my first meeting with Krista, I knew that she would be indispensable. Not only is she incredibly good at event planning, but she is a lovely person to boot!

My husband and I got married in October 2015 at the Arts Club of Washington in DC and with the help of Krista, the event flowed seamlessly from ceremony to dinner to speeches and finally to dancing. About three months before our wedding, I handed off all of the vendor information to Krista and she ran with it, working with them to ensure that they knew what to do on the day of and finding out if they needed anything from me. Krista helped us map out and stage our non-traditional ceremony rehearsal, giving us some structure to follow. On the day of the wedding, not only was she super organized and easy for all of the other vendors to get along with, but she made sure that our parents and bridal parties had everything they needed and knew exactly where they needed to be. She truly went above and beyond, making sure that the table settings were right, and even using her great design sense to place flowers and decor around the venue, exceeding my expectations throughout the day.

I loved waking up on the day of my wedding, knowing that the event was in Krista's incredibly capable hands and that I could have a worry-free, fantastic day with my friends and family. Hiring Krista as our day-of coordinator was hands down the best decision I made on our wedding day, besides marrying my husband, of course.
